Unique Home and View

Modern luxury home set on seven acres of private grounds on the world famous Renvyle Peninsula. The house is located on an elevated site and is approached from a long private driveway. The house affords the most spectacular views from Inishboffin in the south west, to Inish Turk to Achill Island, to Clare Island, Mulranny, to the Sheffrey Hills, to Croagh Patrick, to Mweelrea, to the Maamturk Mountains to The Twelve Bens in the south. A truly unique and spectacular location where history abounds in scenic splendour.

The house itself is 2800 square feet, with sea and/or mountain views from every room. There is a large open plan kitchen, living dining room with a four oven Aga Stove and open fire. There are four bedrooms all very generously proportioned. Bedroom 1 is ensuite and has a full Kingsize Bed. It has Mountain and Lake views. Bedroom 2 is ensuite and has Twin Beds that can be turned into a full Kingsize Bed. It has Sea, Island Lake and Mountain views. Bedroom 3 and 4 share a large bathroom and all three rooms have panoramic views of the entire region. Bedroom 3 is a generous room with full Kingsize Bed and Bedroom 4 has two large Double Beds.

Great House, Beautiful Location

Enjoyed 4 nights staying in this spacious, well appointed home. Great location on the Renvyle peninsula. Easy drive to Connemara National Park, Westport, Clifden and Cong. Beautiful ocean views. Vincent is an excellent host and very responsive to inquiries.

Even better than the photos

There is only one problem with this house - you have to leave!! We had a wonderful visit to Renvyle, the house was great for a family reunion, so much room for everybody. Thanks

Amazing location - terrific home - extraordinary views of the wild Atlantic coast

Lovely large house provides the perfect stay on beautiful Renvyle Peninsula. We are already planning a return trip to this great comfortable house situated on the coast with gorgeous views - a flock of sheep on the field next to the house provide non-aquatic pastoral views as well. The giant Aga stove made it fun to cook meals while within 15 minutes drive there are numerous great pubs and markets should you not want to cook! The house was fresh and clean with good wifi and an attentive landlord as well as all the listed amenities. Really a lovely home base for any family or group of friends looking to explore Connemara - minutes from the Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and the fjord - but not inundated by the tourist buses that descend on Clifden.

House lived up to expectations. Minor issue Front door very hard to open especially from inside. Also more important no emergency exit except front door or through a window which all had drops outside.Lane down to house needs work as could easily damage underneath of a fully loaded car.

Haus mit wundervoller Aussicht und ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, hell und mit allem was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub ausgestattet. Wunderschön ist vor allem die Sicht aus den großen Fenstern aufs Meer und die Inseln. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig, jedoch nicht abgelegen. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, die Abwicklung war unkompliziert. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf, eine Tankstelle und ein (deutscher) Arzt sind in drei Autominuten erreichbar. Von Renvyle aus lassen sich aller touristischen Attraktionen der Connemara problemlos erkunden.
