The small touches of this property are just amazing. Cathy left us some beautiful fresh bread, cheese and biscuits. The heaters were left on for our arrival and wood was left for the firepit. Very convenient location - just a short walk into town. Everything was beautifully clean
We had a lovely stay at this property.
Location perfect and appreciated the kind and thoughtful gift of sourdough bread, cheese and chocolates. Also a well stocked pantry, that we didn’t need to use, but so nice that it is available for guests.
Lovely private front garden to spend an evening relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying breakfast.
Can definitely recommend.
Very clean and neat. Close to the centre of Margs. An ideal spot to rest mid Cape to Cape hike

Great base for exploring Margaret River for a couple of days
Cathy’s place is central and well-equipped. We felt very welcomed! The beds were very comfy too. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside courtyard because of the weather, and recent weather events also left the wifi and dryer not working, but normally this cosy flat would have everything you need. Thanks Cathy for having us to stay.
Overall the accommodation was good. There were a couple of things that were not made known:
- on street parking
- the unit is half a house that been split and renovated
The renovation is well done and most facilities are provided.

Thanks Rod, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay! However, this review is a little misleading - although there is no garaging available there is a parking area on grass and under the shade of a large tree not on the street. The apartment and its gardens and outdoor lounge areas are completely private and there is no sharing with any others and not co-located
Four negative issues to note and identify:
1. I booked and payed for two adults - Two adults made use of the reservation - Upon arrival, in the second bedroom the bed was not made and I contacted the owner, which then obliged to have the bed made for my adult son. After this was done I was contacted to notify me that the bed and linen for the second bedroom would carry an additional Fee! This was not mentioned at all during the initial request. As mentioned, I had booked for two adults initially and no changes occurred after the booking was made - Any future customers please keep this extra-odinary fee and dodgy practice in mind!
2. The bed in the main bedroom is very uneven as it is worn out on both sides with a bump in the middle - Very uncomfortable! Needs replacement
3. The owners suggest that you park your vehicle under the green tree by the entrance to the front gate - A suggestion from my side - don't do it as the red berries of the tree leaves stains and marks on the paint work of your vehicle and only you have to pay for the cleaning thereof - Not the owner!
4. The noise levels from early morning traffic leaving for work is very disturbing as the property is on a corner of two much used roads.This happens from about 05:30am - 07:00am
Would not stay there again and won't recommend it to anyone!

Unfortunately a false review from guest not wanting to pay for accommodation. Stayz authorities have been notified with guests' payment still outstanding.
Please do yourself a favour and do not book this property. The owner was extremely hard to get in contact with the days leading up to our booking and when we finally got a hold of her it was after 5pm the day of our booking where we were technically paying from 3pm.
Upon arrival there was another couple already inside who informed us that they had also booked this property and that the owner had double booked us. We called the owner multiple times and when they picked up it was now a male. Once we kindly told them what had happened they instantly hung up on us. We tried calling and calling (it was now after 9pm at this point) they were hanging up on us. The couple staying in the house already were so lovely and offered us to stay with them, showing us more respect and kindness than the people we'd paid over $650 to. As there was not enough room we had to then call every other accommodation in the area and when we finally got accommodation it was an hour back north after we'd already driven 3 hours to this property.
This type of behaviour is absolutely disgusting and if they would of talked to us instead of ignoring us we would of been more than understanding but ignoring us is disrespectful and gutless.
We never heard from them until the next day I sent a final message that we would be persuing legal actions if we didn't get a refund for somewhere we never stayed. It should of never have come to that. I wish you good luck and hope you treat others with more respect than you showed us.
We have stayed twice now with our pooch and both times have been perfect.
Beautifully kept house, easy walk distance to the pub. We will be back again.
Nice house close to the main strip in town, we walked in for breakfast and dinner most days, clean, roomy, well equipped and a great garden for our small dog to enjoy
The property was great. Initially concerned about it being on a corner but no noise. Convenient to walk into town and to take our dog for a walk to the river. Would book again
Our first overnighter with our little pup and she was a gem, loving all the attention she got everywhere we went. The property was ideal for our needs with the township within easy walking distance and some nice forest walks nearby.
The extra $100 we had to pay because we had a pet was a bit rude, as the Stayz internet site promoted it as a pet friendly property and quoted a fixed fee. To pay extra on top of that was an eye opener.
The property was however clean and well appointed for a country weekend stay and we ended up satisfied with a short holiday.

We offer that single fee special service for their entire stay to some select pet owners as we have lovely outdoor areas and our property is in walking distance to everything and we love our guests to be happy. We do however have to absorb the cost of extra cleaning so our place (inside and out) is clean and pristine for every guest. Thanks again
We had a very lovely stay and it was wonderful to be able to bring our greyhound Layla with us.
Only issue we had was having to reschedule and not being able to be refunded $70 for the 3rd person who then couldn't come with us.
Terrific location close to the town centre. The house is comfortable and beautifully appointed, both inside and outside. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Most appreciative to have our pet dog accepted. Thank you for a terrific stay. Will be back again.
