Weekend of the Festival

Pleasant, well-sited, convenient and comfortable house. Not too far from the MR town centre and the various MRRWF locations, as well as some pleasant bush walks. Beds a little bit short and the stairs somewhat challenging but not a real problem (and we knew about them before we came).

The house was lovely. Great location, great amenities, very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend. The only downside was the internet was slow. Not really an issue when on holiday but not good enough to stream the footy. Would stay here again

Short and sweet

We really enjoyed this chalet. It was everything we needed in a holiday home. It was close to town, neat, clean and cosy with everything we needed. We enjoyed the walk trail by the river, the peace and quiet in the complex and the modern, comfortable accommodation.

Quiet location and plenty of space

Once we managed to find the place, it was fine. There was 4 of us so we only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Very quiet location but too far for us to walk into the Main Street of Margaret River. Very clean and tidy and good cooking facilities.

Comfortable holiday home in a great location!

This is a lovely place to stay in Margaret River. Peaceful location not far from centre of town. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. Really handy outdoor veranda with BBQ and outside dining table. We had a fantastic fun family stay!

Pleasantly presented 2 storey chalet in a complex but distanced enough for privacy and with a lovely tree outlook from an upstairs balcony off the main bedroom. Perfect for a peaceful relax away.

Comfortable house, great location

We had family staying from overseas and chose this place to explore the area from as it had multiple living areas and was close to town. The house was lovely and in a really convenient location for the centre of Margaret River, without being too close the noise of the main road. We stayed for 6 nights with 4 adults and 2 children, and really enjoyed our stay. The chalet was very close to other chalets on the block but there were no overlooking windows and it felt private enough. Our family walked into town most days along the bush paths along the river, and also enjoyed exploring along the river upstream around the lake. We used the BBQ on the deck, and cooked in the kitchen, and found the kitchen well stocked with plates, glasses and pots and pans. We reall enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Cant imagine a better rental

Well designed house, sleeping 4 adults in two queen bedrooms and 4 children in bunk beds. 2 bathrooms and two sitting areas with tv, mini kitchen in smaller sitting area. Outside BBQ, well stocked kitchen and plenty of storage space. Location on edge of town, 20 minuttes walk, beautiful river walks from the doormin minute walk

My husband and I have been holidaying in Margaret River ever since we married 17 years ago. It's safe to say that we have stayed a few places over the years. Sundowners is by far our favourite place we have stayed and we plan to make it our regular winter vacation spot. The place was beautifully clean without having that bleach smell that makes you think what are they covering. There was an assortment of games and DVD. Plenty of space for our family of 5 which includes 3 energetic boys. And the the best thing of all was the location. 300 metres from the Barret Weir and the Beautiful walking trail. That was the highlight for my 7 year old walking through the Forrest and skipping rocks at the weir. Highly recommend.

Family weekend away

The house suited our needs perfectly for our family weekend away to take part in the Margaret River Ultramarathon. It was centrally located and well equipped. I would recommend to others and stay there again.

Perfect Margaret River Getaway

This property offered everything you could of asked in a beautiful bush setting yet so close the main part of town. The owners were so helpful with all communication and offering wonderful ideas. My friend and I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Margaret River.
