Overall, beautiful get away, scenic views, and the ocean, great support from neighbourhood, very friendly, i would recommend to everybody, thanks for the great stay
We had a great stay here. The listing is as decribed and the host is awesome with her communication.
The place was clean and had lots of useful utensils that other places often dont have (cheese slicer, scissors etc).
As the weather was not great for us we played games and did a jigsaw puzzle that was in the house.
I would recommend this property.
Owner was awesome to deal with and made the whole process easy. Excellent spot. Clean tidy home with all you need. Shop right next door for the things you forgot. We came to try out the boat ramp with our new boat (which was successful). Will definitely book here again and get out to experience the amazing fishing we hear about in Okiwi Bay.

Amanda was a delight to deal with and they were absolute gems to have stay. Welcome back any time to our favourite place.
Great bach to stay in, had everything we needed. We took our boat, plenty of room to park, and had an area for filleting after. Super close to the beach.
Hi my name is Sally and with my partner we head down to Okiwi Bay as often as possible. I am a school teacher who is Head of Art and Design at Nga Tawa in Marton. Based in Whanganui with a large garden, Catseye gives us the chance to catch a whole lot of fish and touch base with family and friends in the holidays. Fishing in the ocean or rowing round in my tinny, catching up with the locals or walking the beach front there is as little or as much you want to do in Okiwi Bay.
Why they chose this property
I am from Marlborough and have always wanted a place 'Down the Sounds' like we enjoyed when we were kids, with lots of bush to explore, fish to catch and a bay to swim in. Okiwi Bay is all that and more with fishing like we remember in the good old days the hook hardly hits the bottom and they are biting. Safe enough for the kids to go on adventures without getting into strife and a community that embraces it all. Welcome to our piece of paradise.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with Catseye because it is excellent all year round. On a summers day the sliding doors are open, the sun shines in and with open plan living it is easy to keep an eye on the whole family. Two minutes down to the beach for a swim and play in the children's area down the road. In winter with the fire roaring the whole house is cozy and big enough for eight. Any time of the year there is room for the boats, vehicle's and all that fishing gear - Perfect.
