Traditional one story 4 bedroom home located on a quiet cul de sac in Acacia at La Quinta (N) community, less than 1 mile from Indian Wells Tennis Garden at corner of Palm Desert/IW/La Quinta. Beautiful salt water pool with Baja shelf and Jacuzzi plus outdoor entertainment area including flat screen TV, new gas BBQ ($7000), separate gas burner, sink and fireplace. Convenient outdoor shower and whimsical garden statuary. Yard has East/West exposures which provides both sun and shade. NO coachella or stagecoach events/parties. Newer pool remote control makes for smooth control of heating and hot tub use for pool/spa in Winter/Spring.

Home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths; comfortably sleeps 8. Master suite opens onto pool and master bath has dual sinks with granite countertops with rainfall shower heads. Second master with en suite bathroom, plus 2 additional bedrooms (both with a queen bed) which can share the third bathroom. Extra kids bed for overnight grandkid stays. Plenty of closet and storage space throughout. 2 car garage with drawers/space for storage. 2 bikes for local cruising.

The home is comfortably furnished and features 5 televisions (include 70" flat screen), Wifi, ceiling fans throughout, and lovely indoor/outdoor feeling. The formal living room has a gas fireplace. The dining table expands to seat up to 8. The kitchen has quartz counters and is fully stocked with cooking supplies and utensils (see reviews). The breakfast table overlooks the pool. Office/den has large flat screen TV, glass top desk and chair/file cabinet, wireless printer for your virtual office needs. Separate laundry room and 2 car garage. On site safe (ask owner for instructions). Alarm.

Close to shopping and restaurants on Washington Street. Nearby parks include Adams Park, Indian Wells Tennis Garden and Monticello Park. MacAllum theatre and Freedom Park less than 10 minutes by car. Less than 5 miles from local casino, 10 miles from Agua Caliente Casino, both feature popular concerts. Less than 5 miles to El Paseo and directly north of La Quinta Inn & Spa Resort (a Waldorf property). Plenty of local golf, shops and great eateries as well as grocery, dry cleaning and the usual coffee shops. Bring your credit cards if you like to shop!! A local Walmart, Costco, Lowe's and Home Depot as well as grocery and other big box stores offer tons of options if you need something last minute for your stay. Grocery stores include Ralph's and Von's on Washington, Sprouts and Trader Joe's on nearby 111. Whole Foods within 5 miles in Rancho Mirage on Hwy 111.

This is a non smoking house. Limited tobacco smoking in designated area of backyard outdoors is acceptable, unless neighbors object verbally or contact owner directly. No parties besides guests or other events allowed. La Quinta is highly restrictive to renters and excess cars on street will cause owner to be contacted and fined by police. Some additional covid-19 restrictions currently in place locally.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here from start to finish. Robert was a very good host, with great communication. The pool was awesome and the outdoor poolside cooking area was great as well. Would definitely recommend Robert and his property to friends.

Amazing back yard and pool area!

Excellent communication from the host. He was very attentive and check in and house instructions were super easy to follow. The pool and hot tub were amazing! The backyard area was fantastic with plenty of furniture to enjoy the lovely space. We also really appreciated that there were plenty of towels so we didnt have to do laundry every day if we didn't want to. We had an excellent time and would love to stay there again!

The house speaks great. The hot tub only takes 30 mins to heat up. The house has cooking pits so you can really cook a meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Home Away from Home

This property has an excellent outdoor area in a quiet, private neighborhood. The location is very central to the entire Palm Springs area so nothing was ever a long drive away and there are several nice restaurants you can even walk to. The house is well stocked. We stayed more than 2 months and there was very little we felt was missing. The owner and property manager were both extremely responsive to any questions we had.

Close to most things

The location was perfect for my family of 4 (including 2 teenage boys) we also had an adult couple join us for part of the trip. Plenty of room so everyone had space. About 1 hour drove to Joshua tree. Tons of golf in the area. Would make a great guys golf trip rental. About 30ish minutes to downtown palm springs. Great house great host. Would recomend for lots of different occasions. We stayed for 2 weeks.

Our vacation home was fantastic and everything we expected and wanted. The listing description was very accurate. The house was very clean and well maintained. The back yard (which includes pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and TV) is very well arranged and we spent a lot of time back there. Very clean and practical for spending beautiful evenings out there. We had great service from the owner and the property manager. A phone call to them, and they were available to help us out. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to go to the Desert and have a great place to stay.

Just what we needed

This is a great home with a beautiful pool in a quiet yet convenient neighborhood. We stayed with our two kids (5 and 8 yo) but there’s enough room for 6-7 people to be comfortable. Home is well-stocked and other than a couple minor inconveniences, we had a lovely stay. Robert is a responsive, kind host. His hospitality was top-notch. I know it’s winter, but I wish the pool was a bit warmer. Didn’t bother the kids though. And the hot tub was a nice reprieve. First time we’ve stayed in La Quinta - the location was close to shopping and all the attractions. Two nice parks are in walking distance. Would stay here again.

Beautiful property

The house was exactly as anticipated! With 8 adults we were very comfortable and plenty of rooms and spaces to relax in, both inside and outside. Lovely pool and hot tub area with outdoor Bbq and seating. location was ideal as it was conveniently located to numerous restaurants, shopping and trails. We highly recommend!

Fabulous!

Just couldn’t have been a better VRBO for my husband and I from BC while the LA family with 4 kids 9 and under joined us - beautiful spacious home with two master bedrooms and en suites with two more bedrooms and another bathroom - pool was so perfect with the shallow end perfect for the one year old and many pool toys for the other kids! Just a great location, walking distance to Trader’s Joes and short driving to excursions sites like the Date Farm and The Living Zoo - so private and quiet and all the internet / TV were spot on! And my daughter in law said it was was the best equipped VRBO she had ever stayed in!

Great Properly very poorly prep and cleaned for guests

Master bedroom. Broken glass and sock under the bed Dishes, silver and glasses dirty. dirt and food particles Silverware draw dirty w food particles Bedroom lightbulbs out Pool and spa remote batteries dead so pool and spa not operable. Pool person had to come turn on the spa and pool. Pool main controls very awkward to get too and renters should not be messing with that. We went and bought batteries for the remote and fixed the pool control. Outside TV not operable Remote on the ground outside Carpet and floors dirty under furniture Beds are very uncomfortable. Bedding and pillows old and not comfortable. BBQ tools left dirty from previous use. BBQ filthy on inside Large patio umbrella not usable. Falls over with the slightest breeze Another umbrella in disarray No owners manual. We had to hunt and figure a lot of things. For example. BBQ gas was off. The shutoff was located on house no where near the BBQ. Some of the outdoor lighting not working First two days spent figuring out things and cleaning.

Excellent stay

Wish we could have stayed longer, hopefully next time. The house has everything you need and then some. Tons of towels, kitchen is stocked but the absolute winner is the pool. Our kids were in the pool every free minute, from sunrise to bed time. Communication was excellent and prompt. Encountered no issues at all. Will definitely do this again come next year!

This house is in a lovely neighbourhood and the backyard, including the pool is lovely. However considering VRBO has a banner on their website saying they have enhanced cleaning in place because of COVID this home has not seen it. Overall it lacked attention to maintenance with many things needing repair.

Fantastic Desert Getaway

This was an absolute dream place to getaway the city during the pandemic. The pool is the perfect escape from the heat and the house and kitchen have everything you could desire, from towels and bikes to blenders and strainers. Everything was well-manicured, clean, and contact free check-in/check-out left us worry free. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Rob chose this house because of the incredible back yard, peaceful quiet of the neighborhood and wonderful layout of the living and sleeping quarters. There are also a lot of TVs to enjoy if the weather (unlikely) is not near perfect. Rob can answer any questions you may have and is looking forward to regular repeat renters who would enjoy the weather, local tennis (short term memberships are available!) and shopping/bars/restaurants nearby.

Why they chose this property

Location, backyard, weather, nearby attractions including the wonderful Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Peaceful quiet family oriented neighborhood. Neighbors looking for quiet tenants as well so please keep that in mind. Small pets (cats, dogs) ok, check listing details. A lovely decorated home with lots of room to spread out inside and outside. If you have some kids visiting they can hang in the office, den or outdoors and you can enjoy the living room, dining room and kitchen. Extra kids bed in closet. Everyone can have a little quiet space but when you want to come together outside near the BBQ or pool, that can provide a fun atmosphere for family gatherings as well. 4 roomy bedrooms with carpet/tile, two with TVs and lovely plantation shutters (Master has slider to pool area). A local property manager is within 10 minutes away and is very helpful.

Easy to spend $$! Restaurants galore, old town La Quinta and resorts nearby. Golf! YES!! Multiple courses within 5 mile radius. Plenty of towels, sheets and starter supplies provided.
