Excellent place to stay. The location is perfect— walkable access to both Galway and Salt Hill. The host was entirely accommodating. Highly recommend it!
Good location in Salthill. 20 minute walk to Latin Quarter. Had a few issues with wifi, but only a minor inconvenience and host was responsive. Washer/dryer is small, but worked well. Nice to have covered parking.
Apartment was nice. Location excellent for walking in Salthill or taking the bus to Galway City.

Relaxed, comfortable, quiet settling. Also great location for walking either the City Centre, Salthill, walking paths along the Bay and nearby beaches.
The unit is very well situated close to buses, restaurants and pubs. The kitchen is well outfitted. Sean was very responsive to all my online inquiries and gave a very thorough introduction to the unit and the neighbourhood. All and all a pleasant stay.
The property and location in Salthill were great. Sean, the property manager, met with us and showed us the apartment and parking. He also offered information about the local grocery and restaurants. We would stay again.
Thank you for such a welcome and opportunity to stay in the "sea view apartment"! What a practical location for walking around Salthill, the old city of Galway, and the university! Great to be so close to the Prom and the sea!! And the brown bread at the nearby Morton's of Galway - delicious! Compact yet spacious apartment for two!
This apartment was located just a 15-20 minute walk from Galway and just a 5 minute walk from Salt Hill. The balcony has a nice view of the water, and it is covered - you can still enjoy it even if it’s drizzling out.
The owner was super responsive and had great communication.

We did not actually stay at the apartment we rented. The apartment had flood and plumbing problem so the owners put us up in a lovely place for the 4 days. It was much bigger and we were not charged any extra.
Loved it. Check in was a little difficult. I had to ask for help from strangers how to get a hold of manager. I would prefer a lock code sent 24 hours before.
Quiet location a short walk from Galway city centre
The spacious 2 bed apartment in Salthill had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer, although the listing on VRBO stated there were coin-operated laundry facilities. The grocery store was 5 minutes away on foot. From our 4th floor location (with lift) we could have our morning coffee while watching the activity at Grattan Beach and on the promenade before walking (20 mins) into Galway city centre.
The stay was okay, but the dirtiest kitchen we have ever rented. Kettle boiler filled with a bit of brown liquid, coffe-machine dirty, pots coverd with lids smelling like dead animals, cupboards inside and outside dirty, disgusting.

Two night stay
Sean messaged me advising us his mobile number and asking what our arrival time!
I replied to his mobile number advising approximate time and may we have the exact address.
An hour + later no reply from him. So I called- he asked where we were parked. Met us and told us where to park and walked us thru the apartment. Next day I messaged asking for another pillow for the bed, no reply.
The apartment was bare bones minimum it was clean but no little extras to enhance the stay.
Would not recommend this apartment- it was class to town centre and Salthill village these were a bonus.

Hello, thank you for your comments. I found you in the next complex close to mine when you arrived.
Lucky that I looked around the area for you.
There was an extra pillow in the wardrove if you looked.
I never received your message looking for a pillow.
As I state to all guests when they arrive in the area you phone my number on arrival at my property. You would not be the only check in, sometimes there can be multiple check ins at the same time. We do not provide cooking items like salt and pepper, cooking oil, full fridge with food items etc..
Sorry about the bad weather it is not my fault.
Sean Treacy.
The property manager was very helpful and was always available whenever I needed help. It's a pretty good location within walking distance to the city center. Do note that if you'll need to call when you're on your way for the initial meetup so be sure to make arrangements. You can do what I did and have the taxi call.
