No sheets, no toilet paper, no soap or any other cleaning products. No fire alarm. The property was dirty, walls, cutlery, couch, windows, everything.

Review of Cabin #2
We stayed in Cabin #2 after changing our dates due to severe weather warnings and the property manager said that we would be in Cabin 2. This property needs a major clean and also property maintenance is needed. Venetian blinds were very dirty, as well as windows and window sills. The fans needed to be cleaned. There were cobwebs and leaves collected at the top of the windows outside. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and we tried to avoid sitting on it; I sat in the armchair which was a bit more comfortable - these items of furniture need to be updated. We found the main bed quite comfortable. The place smells musty and the bathroom had a permanent musty smell - we kept windows open as much as possible to air out the cabin. The grounds need maintenance - barbecues not working, gardens overgrown and the eaves are probably blocked as when it rained, the water poured out from the eaves.

Rent a Roughy
This place is rough. Very basic in every way. Not really clean but OK (for eg: spiders webs hanging from the ceiling that are loaded with dust built up over a long time). To be fair, it is not very expensive either. If you think of it as a step up from camping and come with that expectation you will be comfortable. Come with higher expectations and you will be disappointed.

Value for money
The cabin is in a great location and very handy for the beach. The furniture could be updated, especially the bedroom. We had a family in the adjoining cabin which meant it was noisy at times. There’s not much privacy either; the family next door parked right outside our bedroom window and their coming and going disturbed us.

Good Location
Quiet and affordable. Close to beach, bushwalking, running trails, bike paths, golf club and trial bay gaol. The accommodation had a musty odour on arrival which may have been avoided had the windows been opened a little and fans turned on. It was a very wet weekend so that probably didn't help the situation. Lounges ok, but not overly comfortable. Bed comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom adequate. Would stay again.
