As a German couple (commercial property developer and she is a garden book author) we love the unique NZ landscape and support NZ nature and wildlife.
Build for our family use and sharing the property with guests we completed 2018 Kauri Hill Estate as a destination in an absolute European high end standard.
We do since 2006 extensive pest control to support bird live and trees.
As a developer it was for me a happy passion to develop sensible this pristine enviroment the "Kauri Hill Estate" in this old recovering bush of 60 ha which it's high ridges 150 m over sea level a 3.5 km private road + beautiful board- and bush walks, relaxing ponds, streams, landscape with native plants + in this enviroment well integrated super modern houses, sun set view platforms , picnic area with barbecue, bird feeding stations, Helicopter Pad to int. standard, a gatehouse for managment with sheds for machines maintanace ......ect.
All that to create a perfect retreat for relaxing, contemplating and enjoying NZ nature in luxury.

Rob and Joe living on site in the Gatehouse with a big maintenance area close to the main entrance gate. They are the good spirits of Kauri Hill Estate.
