3 Carr Street is proudly managed by Batemans Bay Accommodation.An original Depot Beach house for that special holiday experience. There is no other property that caters for six people in Depot Beach. This home is located only a short walk from beautiful Depot Beach accessed through the grey gum and cycad stand of trees opposite the beach house. Depot Beach is described by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beaches in Australia, recognising its clear white sands, gentle waves and its bush escarpment and coastal views. Located in the heart of the Murramarang National Park, the beach house offers easy access to beaches, coastal walks, great fishing, snorkelling and kayaking amongst one of the most pristine environments on the NSW South Coast. Huge grey gum trees dominate the landscape with an under story of cycads with pockets of rainforest making each walk an adventure. This location is a photographers or animal enthusiasts delight. Be entertained by the birds that visit each day on the front balcony or watch the playful kangaroos and their joeys feed in their natural environment. Wi Fi is provided. This property has been furnished with older style furnishings, and is an original depot beach cottage. If no wifi on arrival please see pre-arrival special instructions email.

Layout: This home is a two story home but all living generated on the upstairs level, with 3 large bedrooms, large front balcony, this substantial beach house offers exceptional accommodation for the family get-away. Downstairs is the laundry, bathroom and small rumpus area for the kids to escape to. With an open plan kitchen, that is fully equipped complete with everything you require, the lounge and dining table are perfect for entertaining. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are all on the upper level of the house.

Bedrooms: This home sleeps 6 people, Linen is included and the cost is part of the cleaning fee. This includes sheets, pillow cases and bath towels. Doonas & doona covers are provided (one per bed).

Bathrooms/Laundry: There are 2 bathrooms on the property. The main bathroom upstairs provides a shower, bath and separate toilet. The ensuite although small has a shower and toilet.

Outside: There is a large back yard with a huge deck and a great BBQ area, from the balcony at the back of the home you can look out towards the mountains and bushland and enjoy reading a book or two.

Pets: Unfortunately pets are not permitted at this property.

3 Carr Street Depot Beach

We love Depot Beach but this property is probably best described as quite tired. The furnishing is old, unsuitable and reminiscent of my grandmother's place. The property was not very clean. The property is damp affected and smelled dank for our entire stay. And what's with all the manky blankets & pillows in the cupboard? Overall disappointing considering the nightly rate. I will chose another proper over this one in future

Great house in an amazing location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a large and very comfortable house, perfect for 2 families to share. It is not polished and modern but that made it easy to relax! The balcony is really lovely, with ocean views, and the big trees provided shade and lots of colourful bird life. I'll definitely be back to Depot Beach.

Beach house in a quiet location with beautiful views

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in a truly magical part of the world that is Depot Beach. The views from the balcony are beautiful. The large deck is perfect for eating outdoors, with large dining table and BBQ area. There is also a large self-contained den underneath the house with a bathroom and small ktichen (stove not working but there's a fridge) with TV and sofa area. However, there are no beds in the den and it's extremely damp and musty smelling so not a great place to hang out. The upstairs living and bedroom areas are comfortable and spacious. My only criticism is that the house could do with a deep clean to remove dust from under furtniture and beds. The linen provided is sparse and some of the were a bit dirty (e.g. the duvets in the room with bunkbeds were stained which suggest they are very old), so recommend you bring your own duvet cover, spare face washers and tea towels. But overall a very pleasant stay and would book again.
