Welcome to Dragonfly Breeze, a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom elevated private pool home located in Holmes Beach, just a short walk to the sugary white sands and clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Open the front door, step into the open floor plan and let your vacation begin.

The living room is equipped with a flat screen TV, cable television in all the bedrooms and complimentary high-speed wireless internet are available for your entertainment.

The first bedroom provides a king size bed; a queen size bed is in the second bedroom and two twin size beds in the third bedroom. There is plenty of sleeping space for family and friends. Unwind in the large, jetted tub of the master bathroom or enjoy stand-alone showers in the master as well as the second bathroom.

After a day at the beach, create culinary delights in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances or enjoy outdoor grilling while relaxing in the private pool surrounded by tropical landscaping. An elevator within the property is available for your convenience.

In addition, shopping, restaurants and the free AMI island trolley service with both northbound & southbound stops are within a very short walking distance of Dragonfly Breeze. The home provides covered parking for 2 vehicles and comes fully stocked with linens, bath towels and beach towels. Also provided are beach chairs, a beach cart and a beach umbrella!

Please note that the pictured hot tub will unfortunately not be operational during your stay as the water is the same temperature as the pool.

We love the dragonfly!

2 years in a row same week. Great house! Plenty of space. We like the big driveway and double carport. Wish the a/c would go lower than 72. 8 minute walk to beach. 40 seconds using our golf cart.

Enjoyable Stay

We had a great stay near Holmes beach. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen stocked with what we needed. The pool and grill were perfect for a dinner at home. The beach was a short walk to the end of the street. The grocery store and restaurants were nearby. We enjoyed our stay on Anna Maria.

Awesome Property

House was clean and in a great location. We went in March and had sun at the pool from 11:30AM to about 2:30PM. Then we would make the roughly 0.25 mile walk to the beach. There was plenty of walk-able shops and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful home and the pool was perfect. Its a short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The elevator was a fantastic bonus and made getting luggage and groceries upstairs super easy. We really appreciated the beach cart, chairs, sand and pool toys. Great house, perfect location

The check in process was very easy. The house was spotless and perfectly located. My only complaint is when checking out you’re required to do a thorough cleaning of the house, including washing all the towels and dishes, taking out all the garbage. Then why are you charging us hundreds of dollars for cleaning fees?

Our cleaning fee is in fact one of the lowest when compared to other vacation rental homes on the island. We purposely do not offer a paid for by guest linen program as many other competitors do, so that our guests benefit from higher quality towels and sheets, as well as higher quantity of all, and in return we ask that only beach towels are washed and dried. Loading and starting the dishwasher prior to checkout can greatly expedite the cleaning, so that next guests can possibly check-in sooner, and we ask that trash is removed from inside the home. Absolutely everything else our cleaning team will of course take care of after departure.

Holmes Beach House

We generally had a wonderful time. The VRBO definitely met our expectations. Beautifully decorated and very clean. A couple of things but not anything to make or break our holiday. The tv's were a little of a challenge but we eventually got them working. Livingroom one very slow. Limited stations. The house was close to Gulf Drive so sometimes it was noisy, however we would still go back there without hesitation.

House was clean, it was plenty big enough for a family of 4. Bathrooms were a little dated, hot tub was non functional, but it was in the 90s and didn’t bother us. Bed mattresses were super firm (uncomfortable). Didn’t like the fact that thermostat wouldn’t go below 72 (by programming)but all in all it fit our needs. Also took about 10 minutes to stroll to the beach area, and gulf drive is very very busy and noisy.

Great rental property!

Great place to stay on Anna Maria Island. The house was very accommodating. A very short walk down the road to the beach access, which was in a spot where the beach wasn’t super crowded. Loved having access to beach chairs, blanket, toys, and a cart to tote it all to the beach. Liked how beach towels were also provided in the house, as that was one less thing we had to pack. The pool was great. After a long day in the sun at the beach, it was nice to come back to a shaded pool to swim in. All in all a great rental. The only negative was the noise from the main road the house sits on. We were awaken by sirens of emergency vehicles going past several mornings. With that being said, we would definitely return to the Dragon Fly Breeze!

Clean home, close to beach!

Very clean and very well equipped home with a great outdoor/pool area! There are pros and a cons to location… pros are that it is a couple block walk to the beach access, easy walk to restaurants and shopping, trolley stop right at the end of the road - cons are that it is the first house off of the main road. We were not expecting too much traffic seeing as it is an island and there is a noise ordinance for 10pm, but you really can hear every car that goes by at night… didn’t prevent us from sleeping or anything, but just more of an annoyance. The bathrooms and kitchen could use an update but that’s just appearances- everything worked beautifully! A note for the owners, it would have been convenient to be able to get into outside door downstairs :) We had a great stay despite the very minor drawbacks!! Thanks so much!

Upon arrival check in and Wi-Fi didn’t work, emailed and left voice mail no response had to call the next morning. The gentleman did come within the time frame he said. The place is very outdated with the furniture being very old, we all left with backaches. The beds, thank goodness were comfortable. One of the bedrooms is technically NOT a bedroom, no closet and connected with pocket door to master. Master bath sink has rust and shower is not a full shower, doors are not able to fully open like normal doors and the seat is way to big, very awkward. There was originally only one bath mat for two bathrooms, neither with rubber resistance on the bottom. The gentleman did bring another before the end of Monday along with 2 beach towels, as there were only 4. In the kitchen it was very spacious and pretty well stocked, could use a new sharpening rod to sharpen knives. The refrigerator had a lot of black mold in ice dispenser and the refrigerator water dispenser had white things floating in the water, reminded me of dried milk coming off a milk jug. I was told this is just what happens at the beach. When water goes through a filter these pieces shouldn’t be coming out, my daughter lived at the beach and never had this. Advertised as heated pool but as the guest you couldn’t set the temperature that was comfortable for you, under a lock box. Pool was nicely shaded and private, six chairs and picnic table with umbrella were there, which was very nice. The new deck and stairs were very nice but both front and backstairs to back were extremely dark, thank goodness someone always had a phone to shine on steps, Solar lights would help going up and down. One thing that should have been disclosed is that the house is on the main road and traffic is heavy and noisy. It was loud sitting on the deck as well as in the house. Sitting in living room, it’s so loud it sounds like the windows were open and they were not.

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not entirely what you had hoped for. We inspect every property prior to our guest’s arrival to ensure that all was properly cleaned, and that amenities such as air condition, pool heat, internet etc are all working. Guest’s arrival was in the evening and between inspection and arrival the cable company’s equipment malfunctioned and required a full reset. We received a voicemail late evening and stopped by the home the very next day (Monday) around 10AM and were able to resolve issue for the guest. We are glad to hear that beds were comfortable and will follow up to see what else may have caused the mentioned backaches. We have lots of pictures from inside the home showing the furniture, as well as the third bedroom with the pocket door connection to the master bedroom. In addition, the map of the listing shows the exact location of the home and the street next to home has a speed limit of only 25 mph. During our visit for internet connection, guests asked about the water quality from fridge dispenser. We did not find anything wrong with the water quality by either look or taste, inspected and showed the guests the filter cartridge with marked replacement date of just 1.5 months ago. We also offered to purchase and deliver some bottled water if they felt uncomfortable drinking the water, but guest declined. The pool is advertised as heated to 84F and we confirmed that all was working properly. We communicate the set pool temperature in great detail in our rental agreement which guest signs online. Increasing the temperature is an option at a very reasonable price of $15 per day, but this was declined by guests as well. Neither the water from dispenser nor pool temperature were communicated to us as big issues, so we are disappointed to see it mentioned in the review.
