Beachfront 2 Bedroom, 2Bath condo in the center of beautiful Longboat Key, an island just a few miles north of Sarasota. LaPlaya Condominiums provides a private beach, sheltered pool with sundeck, and beachfront grills so you won’t miss a minute of the sunset. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and all linens and beach towels are provided. Welcome to our island-style living!

Our condo features a breakfast bar island, plus a spectacular Gulf view from the open kitchen/dining/living area leading to the screened beachfront lanai. The split floor plan insures that the quiet bedrooms are separated from family activity areas in this “all-on-one-level” condo.

It was nice being able to just open the back door and walk right out onto the beach

I would highly recommend staying at this place. It was nice being able to walk straight out and be on the beach. We didn't have to climb any stairs or use any elevators to get to our condo. The place was clean, great location and had pretty much all beach accommodations one would need.

Check in was smooth, kitchen missing some minor things like ice cream scoop. Condo only had bare starter kit (communicated up-front). Would have preferred more of the paper items and trash bags, so we wouldn’t have to purchase. All items from previous guests appeared to be removed, which was a bit unfortunate because we everything had to be bought day one. Also would have preferred in unit cooler and beach toys.

Great location and comfortable

This unit was comfortable and right on the beach. Beds were comfortable as well... sheets were very stiff and rough, though. Kitchen could be stocked with more cookware and utensils of better quality.
