1.3 miles (30 minute walk) from the PPG PAINT ARENA - home of the Pittsburgh Penguins,
1.7 miles from downtown Pittsburgh cultural district.
2.2 miles from HEINZ FIELD and The David Lawrence Convention Center.
1.4 miles from the water taxi that shuttles patrons to and from PNC Park and Heinz Field
1.2 miles (25 minute walk) from the light rail in town with stops at PNC Park, Heinz Field

For those guests who enjoy biking, the trails that line the three rivers in Pittsburgh are extraordinary. Your are an easy ride (7 blocks) to the 18th street entrance to The South Side Trail that connects to the many bike trails throughout the Pittsburgh area. The South Side Trail also connects to "The Great Allegheny Passage Trail" that can take you 335 miles to Washington, DC.

Our South Side Neighborhood boasts an REI store (on 27th Street) which will repair or ship your bike. We also have Thick Bikes (on 15th Street) which can help you with repairs and accessories.

Jeff & Kitty's place is absolutely amazing! If was perfect for our 6 people. We couldn't have asked for a better place or better hosts. It was close to downtown Pittsburgh and the neighborhood had plenty of restaurants, lounges and shops within walking distance. Highly recommend their place.

Seven of us came to Pittsburgh to see Carrie Underwood at Paints Arena. The location of the property was great. The place was very clean and it was nice to have a garage to park the car. My family had a wonderful stay! Our group consisted of adults (one wheelchair user) and a kiddo. Jeff and Kitty were really wonderful hosts. They answered all of our questions prior to our arrival and were very responsive once we arrived. They took extra care to ensure the first floor is wheelchair accessible (love the bathroom in particular!) and open easy to navigate with the chair. The location is great, and between the garage and the guest parking registration Jeff and Kitty secured for us, parking was easy. The home was extremely clean and full of amenities. If you forget any toiletries, they probably have them! We cooked every day and used the grill as well and had everything we needed. This house was perfect for our family visit and we highly recommend it! Thank you for hosting us, Jeff and Kitty!

Spectacular property in an "up and coming" neighborhood

We felt like the country mouse family, coming to the big city for the first time in many years. But this amazing townhouse was the perfect spot from which we attended the Elton John concert, and visited the Pittsburgh Zoo and the National Aviary. Highly recommend this property and host. Luxury Experience

Jeff and Kitty are awesome hosts! Their house, which has a superb location to over 60 restaurants and bars within blocks, I considered as good as any luxury hotel stay. I was in the hotel business for 41 years and can say this home is really exceptional. Great attention to details from a very well appointed kitchen to comfy beds, linens, towels etc. Unlike some VRBO stays where linen, towels and other basic items are not included Jeff and Kitty have gone above and beyond to anticipate their guests needs. The three full bathrooms which are also well done made the mornings easy for everyone who of course were getting ready at the same time. My friends were impressed and I was thrilled to take them for a get away weekend to such a special space and location. We had a ball and would rent from Jeff and Kitty again without any hesitation! Highest recommendation!!
