About this property
Bundaleer - Architect designed, stunning views!
Special! Stay 2 nights and receive a third night free! Conditions apply.
This stunning house features in architectural critic Stephen Craftis 2008 book - A Place in the Country: New Rural Architecture - Australia and NZ. It has more recently been included in 100 Country Houses: New Rural Architecture which features internationally acclaimed examples of new design from the US, Europe and around the globe. It has also has featured in Australian Gourmet Traveller, Sydney Morning Herald, the Life and Leisure section of the Financial Review, Highlife Magazine, Sanctuary Magazine, Trends Magazine and In Design Magazine.
Set on 160 acres of farm and bushland to walk and explore, you will never forget your stay in this stunning architecturally designed home with magnificent views over the wilderness. As soon as you arrive at Bundaleer you realise that this is something very special, with three sides of the house being glass windows, you receive uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and bushland and all the stars at night time.
With 3 bedrooms, plus a large living area there is plenty of space for the family to move around or for 3 couples to each have their own area for privacy. Two bathrooms also mean that you wont be on top of each other. With an outdoor fire pit - please bring your own wood or collect fallen timber from the property, plus outdoor table setting there are plenty of options for eating and enjoying the view.
With the main bathroom having a fold out window with an amazing view day or night, no matter where you are within this house you will overwhelmed by the scenery. With a log fire inside - firewood provided from May to September - you will stay nice and warm in winter, and the specialised glass means you wont over heat in summer.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen, full laundry facilities, plus a TV with DVD player as well as some books, games etc. And all linen is supplied all you have to bring is yourself (and anyone you want to share this amazing property with) and your food, although there are plenty of local places in the village to eat at.
Located only 5 minutes from the village of Kangaroo Valley, you are close enough when you need to be but far enough away that you will forget there is even anyone else in the world.
