About this property

Set Sail to Mare @ iL Sognatore - Colorful, Secluded and Magical

Mare is our newest cottage at iL Sognatore. It has its own private fenced in courtyard with a hammock and a place to store all your beach toys. Inside it has a double bed, a small couch that can accommodate a child, as well as a kitchen with everything you will need. There is a sitting area, your own private bathroom plus a dedicated laptop space. iL Sognatore has WiFi throughout, secure parking inside the compound and it is close to the airport and the best beaches in Aguadilla and Isabela.

Overview, the neighborhood and the space:
Casa iL Sognatore is a retreat, a secluded place where you can come get away from it all and enjoy nature and the calm it provides. Come recharge yourself in this magical place.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It is a dead end road, so only people that live around, drive on the road. There's a track near the house for those who like to go for a walk. Coffee Spot is walking distance from the house and they offer good coffee, pastries, breakfast and lunch. The Aguadilla Airport, beaches, restaurants are about 8 minutes from the house.

Some things to Note:
- There is a water rationing in place for the NW of Puerto Rico. il Sognatore has 1200 gallon cistern when city water is turned off. There is plenty of hot water and water pressure even on the off days, but we ask guest to be mindful of their water usage during the off times.

- The host offers private surf lessons, snorkeling tours, and spearfishing.

- Mare @ iL Sognatore is pet friendly, but please know that we charge an additional pet cleaning fee of $40. Please let us know beforehand if you are bringing pets, since there are other animals that live on the property.

Mare, Sole and Luna are separate units which are available to rent together for bigger groups or events. Please contact us for details. We hope you give us the opportunity to host you at our home.

A wonderful escape

Cute, breezy little casita with a nice private outdoor area. Simple, but has everything you need, including a hammock where you might see some Puerto Rican Mango hummingbirds. We loved hearing the rain and chickens at night. It’s a quiet location within easy drive of many beaches and food options.

It is off the beaten path. If you are expecting a hotel type experience it is not that. It is the experience of living as a local. With all the local wildlife running around. Cute, clean and we hated to leave.

Aguadilla Reunion

The property was easily accessible. My GPS had a different location, so I called the host, who immediately responded and gave me the location, and it was spot on. The place had parking available, and it was safe with a surrounding fence. It was clean, and everything worked, though the bed lights needed replacement. Our pet enjoyed the AC, TV, warm water, and a lovely patio. I strongly recommend others stay, and we will return. The host was always responsive, and he made the difference.

No frills gem!

Can't beat the price! This property was very quaint and we enjoyed it as a "home base" while visiting Aguadilla and surrounding areas. We used this property just to shower and sleep as we spent most of the day out and about. Fabio was very accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable. Felt safe and well cared for.
