Located on a marina property on the Patapsco River, you will have access to amenities including the beach and pool (pool closed Tuesdays). This 580 square feet cottage has all the comforts of home, including a galley kitchen, a full bathroom and an upstairs loft with king, full and twin beds. This is one you have to see to believe!

Tiny House

This tiny house is cute and has a great view of the water! It’s peaceful aside of the noisy generator running at the wedding venue next door. It wasn’t very clean when we arrived. Floors had some piles of sand and appeared to be unswept. Some trash from the previous people was left laying around.

Weekend getaway with friends

Cute, little property, perfect for a couple wanting to get away and recharge. Pool, beach and kayaks are convenient. You need to drive to restaurants but no too far.

A cozy getaway perfect for us! We enjoyed our stay at this charming little cottage by the bay. We would highly recommend to anybody considering a private stay that is still close enough to Annapolis and the Naval Academy.

Great stay

Beautiful view. The place is small but perfect for a couple or a family of three. The view is top notch. We enjoyed leaving the windows open and listening to the water. The steps are fine as long as you are steady on your feet.

Wonderful stay!

This is an amazing property, sitting right on the water's edge. I felt totally relaxed. The house is stocked with all kinds of little extras that shows that the owner put a lot of thought into making the house as welcoming as possible. The cleanliness was impeccable. I have stayed at many rentals and this was among the best!

Appropriately named

The Heron’s Nest is the perfect name for this cottage. We saw so many Great Blues as the sun went down on the first night of our stay, and slept with the windows open listening to them flying over the water all night. Also loved watching the ospreys, and tracking the ships and planes going by. Really appreciated the easy communication and accommodations provided by the host, and check in was super easy. Access to all the amenities of the marina really made this the perfect getaway. Can’t wait to come back.

Relaxing haven

I have to start with how friendly, kind and helpful everyone was on the property. We were looking to relax and found a special place! We enjoyed countless hours sitting on the porch and taking in the view. Because of the heat we were able to enjoy a dip in the pool and relax at the beach. There is plenty of activities in the area. We enjoyed a lunch and boat ride in Annapolis as well as hiking in a nearby park. The house was comfortable and accommodating. Enjoy!

Our Happy Place!

This was our second visit to Heron's Nest. Love it there! We've only been there during the winter, and it is super peaceful and quiet. The cottage is adorable, comfortable and super clean. The bed is heavenly. You can sit on the sofa and watch the water for hours. Occasionally, you'll see ships or ducks go by. The sunrises are gorgeous! This time the weather was a bit warmer and we visited 2 local parks and my husband biked around the area. Can't wait to go back again.

Wonderful

This was the second time for us visiting the Heron's Nest and it's as wonderful as we remembered. The home is charming. It is a mix between a tini-home and a tree house. Perfect for relaxation and outside living. This time around we went on a weekday, and we liked it even more because there were less people at the Marina. Days are wonderful there, nights are even better, perfect for outside grilling and for listening to the sound of the water. We would recommend this little gem to anyone and hope to come back again!

Simply perfect- cottage feel, breathtaking views.

From making the reservation to following up after our stay, Adrienne was responsive, easy to work with and very accommodating to our requests. We truly could not have chosen a more perfect home and location for our stay. The Heron's Nest is beautifully decorated, quaint and cozy with all the comforts of home. The property is exceptional with ample parking, fabulous water views, a large porch for enjoying morning coffee or watching the cruise ships coming in and out of port. We had a few guests during our stay, and many have reached out requesting information on the reservations process. I will be recommending "The Heron's Nest" to all family and friends. Perfect. Peaceful and quaint

This has to be one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. The house Is small but has everything you need. It’s so quiet and private and nothing beats waking up and having the bay right outside your window. My husband and I stayed with our almost two year old daughter and she loved it as well. There is a small beach and park just steps away from the house which she loved and a small little room in the back of the loft was a perfect little cove for her to sleep, just make sure you bring a baby gate if you have small children. Communication about check in was super easy. The host was very friendly and clear. The house was very clean. The local restaurants were delicious and everyone in the town was very welcoming. I would stay here again 10/10.

Renovated Lovely Cabin With Water Views

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The home was immaculately clean and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The cabin was spacious, well-maintained, and furnished with cozy furniture. And it had lovely views throughout. Convenient private spots. The nautical-themed decor throughout the home was lovely and added a charming, coastal vibe that made our stay even more enjoyable. One of our favorite features was the outdoor patio area. It was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The lounge chairs were comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and serene, offering a lovely retreat. The location couldn’t have been better! We were just a short distance from the wedding venue, which made our stay incredibly convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated place to stay.
