Beautifully renovated Mountain cottage with Ocean view

Quietly nestled along the ridge of the beautiful Berry Mountain on a private property sits this stunning and charismatic historic cottage overlooking the South coast and Pacific ocean.

Located 2.5 hours from Sydney, 10 minutes to the centre of Berry and approximately 25 minutes to Kangaroo Valley.

‘The Cottage’ has undergone significant renovations to ensure the interior is of the highest standard with all modern requirements while maintaining its historic character.


The air-conditioned and pet friendly cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in two separate queen bedrooms. Other facilities include a bathroom, separate toilet, dining and lounge area and kitchen. (Please ensure dogs are included in your booking by selecting ‘bringing pets’ in your booking request)

The Main bedroom is a beautiful light filled room with uninterrupted views of the coast line with the second bedroom taking in the beauty of the outdoors with windows framing the surrounding garden and trees. Our quality beds are made up with soft linen and plush bedding prior to your arrival.
Provided in our bathroom for your comfort are quality towels and Appelles bathroom products.

Our kitchen is well equipped with an oven and a 4 burner gas stove top. We provide pots and pans, oils, coffee, tea and a range of herbs & spices or you can collect some herbs from the garden to garnish your meal or cocktail.
There is an outdoor dining area set under the the wrap around verandah where you can sit and enjoy a meal or read a book while watching the world go by. Take time away from the hustle and bustle to see and hear the birds and all that nature has to offer.

Guests are welcome to walk around the property to pick fruit from the citrus orchard or visit our horses who are happily grazing in nearby paddocks.

During the winter months, guests are encouraged to sit outside and view the stars while taking advantage of our outdoor fire pit area.

Well behaved dogs are also welcome to the property and can be contained in a yard surrounding the cottage or they too can walk with you and enjoy the property.
Please note dogs must be included in your booking and will incur a small 'pet stay' charge per stay.

‘The Cottage’ is the ultimate getaway location for a romantic escape or for a small group of friends to hideaway while still being so close to local cafes, wineries and beaches.


RATES: PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH OUR GUEST/ROOM BOOKING PRIOR TO BOOKING. PETS MUST ALSO BE ADDED TO ANY BOOKING.
Our nightly rates are based on 2 guests staying in ONE bedroom. There is an additional charge of $66 (inc GST) per per extra guest (3 & 4) per night from our base rate.
In the instance 2 guests will be staying and separate bedrooms are required, there will be an additional one off charge of $150 (inc taxes) per total stay. Please make note of this in your booking and we will contact you to organise the additional payment.
If we are not told 2 rooms are required for 2 guests only one room will be made available.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We encourage guests to be familiar with our cancellation policy as we are unable to refund for last minute cancellations at any time.
The only instance a refund would be possible is if the property was unable to be accessed in any way due to road closure or other issue. We strongly encourage guests travelling during the fire season to seek travel insurance to avoid any financial loss should they choose not to travel. Last minute cancellations due to poor air quality or unexpected weather conditions will not incur a refund.

****DOGS:
Please ensure dogs are included in your booking.

We are very happy to offer our property as a pet (dog, bird & small exotic pets) friendly holiday location and we provide some items including water bowls and some toys for your pets stay.
To assist us in remaining a pet friendly location we do ask guests follow some house rules.

Dogs are not to enter bedrooms and are not to sleep on our furniture including couches. We have provided baby gates to assist in preventing dogs entering bedrooms while still allowing them to see you.
The bath and bath towels are to be used by guests only. We kindly ask that owners clean up after their dogs and return all bowls and toys to the basket provided.
Excessive dog hair on furniture and other areas of the accommodation will incur an additional cleaning fee of $90 to cover the time taken to ensure our next guests are also able to arrive to a beautifully presented accommodation.
