About this property

Our Creekside Cottage is located only a mile from the Olympic Discovery Trail.

This cozy Creekside Cottage is just off Hwy 101, midway, between Sequim and Port Angeles. We are tucked away, in a quiet & peaceful little valley, with a creek running along side the lower yard. Enjoy this view from the fenced in backyard or take a stroll to refresh your senses.

The meadow below has 2 swings in the big maple which we HIGHLY recommend you try. Guests are encouraged to use the fire pit as well. Bluetooth speakers are a feature in fire pit area, along with a power outlet to plug your phone in.
This area is a great space to play games, exercise your dog, or just hangout. Night golf, cornhole and horseshoes are just a few of the games we have available for use. In the summer time i have a hammock set up where you can listen to the creek and take a nap.
Or just find a spot to sit down by the creek and take it all in!
The Olympic Discovery Trail is easy to get to and only a mile away for hiking or biking.

The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable queen size pillow top mattress with all bedding. Built in dresser & closet for your convenience.

Our kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove with oven, crock pot, microwave, toaster & Keurig coffee maker. We have stocked the kitchen with all the tools you'll need to prepare meals and even do a little baking if you choose. In the cupboard are essential spices, sugar, flour, and a few other items. You will also find a gas BBQ in the backyard.

The bathroom has a shower & commode. We have provided cozy towels and washcloths. In the shower is a dispenser with Aussie shampoo, conditioner and Ivory body wash.
Unfortunately, the bathroom does not have a sink.

Relax in the living room and enjoy the electric fireplace, flat screen TV with DVD player. We have provided a lift top coffee table for your meals. The couch makes into a full size bed. Bedding provided. Or sit in the comfy Stress-less reclining chair with ottoman. We can provide a single cot if you prefer not to use the Hide a bed, since the space is so limited.

We are dog friendly and can provide a bed, dishes, etc. Please let us know breed and size of your furry friend and what needs you have.

We respect your privacy and hope you have a relaxing stay at our home. We are very neighborly people so don't be shy about waving "hello" if you see us out. We live 2 parking spaces from the cottage.
Which is why we have put up a privacy fence that seems to work quite well.

Come enjoy our sunshine, forests, salt water, and country living at its best. We look forward to your visit!

Mitch and Michelle were fantastic hosts! The cottage was comfortable and very homey. We spent the evening there after long hikes and it definitely was a great place to relax. I especially loved the beautiful yard and the creek that we were able to explore. I spent 1 morning meditating and reading down by the creek and it was definitely a great start to my day. Having a full kitchen was also a huge plus, we were able to make our meals instead of having to eat out every night of our trip

Mitch and Michelle are so kind and welcoming! We met Mitch upon our arrival and he told us about all the amazing games and gems on the property. We even played a round of glow golf with him, Michelle and the other guests on the property and it was so much fun! A must do during your stay!! The place is great and clean and adorable! The sink isn't in the bathroom but who cares!? It's past of the charm ;)

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights while road-tripping around the Olympic Peninsula, and it was a lovely little home base. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with a warm living area and a well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to put together meals between stops on the road. The location is convenient too — close to the Olympic Discovery Trail and just a short drive from the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, which made it a great launching point for exploring the area.The hosts Mitch and Michelle were wonderful — warm and welcoming, and they took the time to walk us through all the features of the property so we felt right at home from the start.The real highlight, though, was Jemma, the hosts' sweet and friendly little dog — my daughter absolutely adored her and it added such a warm, welcoming touch to our stay.Two nights honestly wasn't enough — we really wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the property more. We'd happily come back for a longer visit next time we're in the area.

The house is away from traffic off of 101 near a creek. The house is small, but cozy and well stocked. and is dog friendly. The bed is very comfortable. There is a fenced in outside area with a table, chairs, glider and grill. It overlooks a large area with an firepit, and creek access with lights strung throughout. The stair access is steep, but there is a hydraulic lift that can be used to get down to a pathway. Very pretty and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. We would recommend for a unique getaway.

We had a wonderful time! Michelle and Mitch are the best hosts, very accomodating and flexible. The premises are great if you're coming with kids -- our toddler has thoroughly enjoyed playing outside as well as all the toys. The cottage is very close to Olympic National Park where we spent most of our time during the day. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Good location for exploring Olympic National park. There is a cute little electric fireplace in the bedroom area too! Fireplaces can be used with or without heat, make sure you have it set the way you want.
