Family paradise

Family enjoyed the stay here and didn’t want to go out as the views were spectacular. We should’ve stayed longer though as we were so busy checking out the city and going to places and stayed less at home. Overall, a very nice place. Kids enjoyed the space.

View and location was amazing. Checking was great. Wi-Fi great. We all were dissapointed the the verandah but shut off for maintenance and although was noted in the fineprint we didn't see this highlighted when we booked and it was a feature photo advertised Also cooking appliances (pans etc) in desperate need of replacing and need a new cleaner. Inches of dust on furniture. Still enjoyed the stay despite a few negatives.

Remarkable Retreat unit 1

Accommodation was great fully recommend, clean homey feel, beautiful views easy access to lake. Had issues with Sky tv connection but we had Netflix, Prime etc. available. Host responsive and check in was smooth no issues.

Perfect location

The location was perfect. The views of the lake are stunning. This property is not the newest or best equipped but it was comfortable and offers good value for money

It was a great holiday in a lovely house. It would have been nice to have some tea and coffee available and some larger pans to cook for our number of 9 and since the house can accommodate 11.

We totaly enjoyed our stay, great location and and spacious house, the only down side was some minor maintenance was needed,we reported it the day we entered but no one bothered to get back to us at all or fixed them thru out our stay.

Queenstown stay

Great location right on the lake, however it was a challenge for our family with two medium sized SUV’s to negotiate the parking, garage was too small to fit either car, you need a good driver to fit both cars and get them in and out the allocated space. House was amazing but found unwashed plates etc in pantry from previous guests and garbage arrangements/ allowances not practical for a large group staying for more than a week.

Nice views and location but…

Stunning views and location is great. Access to the property is good. However heater in the master bedroom does not work and cold gets into the gaps of the window. Wifi does not work at the bottom bedrooms. Overall great

Spring retreat with friends

Mesmerising view of the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu and Remarkable Peaks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. Being an enthusiast landscaper and a man with deep aesthetic sense, I would prefer a different layout of couches in the lounge as the current one obscure the million dollar view. Some of the cooking pans need a replacement as some has burnt skin and stick/burn food immediately after you start cooking even at slow heat. Overall, a great place to stay. Very close to the towns (Frankton and Queenstown). Has access to the Frankton bike/walking trail from the lower portion.

It was good but a few issues

The property was nice and good location however the kitchen crockery had quite a few chips on the plates and cups. The kitchen cookware was small when the property caters to sleep 11. The wifi would not hook up easily and in the end only had 2 devices able to get connected. The set of drawers in 2 of the bedrooms were broken. The dryer did not work great. The glass top coffee table was not secured on making it a little hazardous with children. The rubbish situation was strange as there was wheelie bins at the front door but not able to use and had to remove own rubbish and take recycles to recycle centre, when staying for a week with 9 people would have thought would be able to put rubbish in the bins. The property overall was not as clean as would have expected, blinds and windows dirty. Beware when booking through a third party as they add on quite a percentage to the rate.

Ideal for a family of nine to get together to celebrate a special birthday.
