Recreation Passes:
Per The Sea Ranch Association rules, we provide 2 recreation passes per rental. Each pass can accommodate up to 6 people when fully completed. If you need additional passes beyond the 2 provided, day passes are available for $5 per person, per day at the pool kiosk or the Sea Ranch Association office.

PLEASE NOTE: After your booking is confirmed, all guests are required to complete and sign the rental agreement before arrival. Additional information and instructions will be provided after booking.

Even Better Than the Photos

While the photos are accurate, somehow this house is even better in person. The views from the living, dining and bedrooms are spectacular. Beds are very comfortable. Yes, the all-wood decor is straight from the 70s, but the house is spacious, super comfortable and perfectly located. We especially appreciated the small things that aren't usually mentioned in reviews, like good water pressure and the home was dry with no hint of mildew or dampness--something that can show up in older coastal homes. Hot tub was lovely. We will definitely be back!

The kitchen is very well stocked and easily accommodates a family dinner. Suggest adding a deck umbrella or two, upgrading the bed linens and sleeping pillows, and replacing the sofa bed. Otherwise, perfection!

Beach Rentals and the homeowner want to thank the renter for their review and comments regarding the house. The homeowner is always looking for a way to make the house better for renters. Unfortunately we will never be putting in deck umbrella's. They would be nice, but the wind right here would blow the umbrellas away and possibly into the windows of the house. They also want you to know that there is a foam pad to put over the mattress on the sofa bed in the guest bedroom closet. This makes this sofa bed very comfortable. They recently purchased and installed new sleeping pillows in the house. The Amoretto home has never been a linen and towels house. Any linens you found in the house have now been locked up. You are welcome to bring your own linens and towels or rent them from Beach Rentals. Thank you. From Beach Rentals Management and the homeowners

The deck and the sitting room also have wonderful views. There is a small path one can walk below the property to get to the main path and down to the seaside trail. The house is a little drafty I think, as it cools off quite quickly during the night (if we don't run the heat) and warms up quickly in the sun. The heating system works great though...warming us up quickly in the morning.

We now have a toddler and it’s a great house if you do have kids. The deck and fenced in yard is perfect for playing, watching quail, deer, hawks, etc. kitchen has everything you need! And the location is great - ocean views but protected from the wind so you can enjoy being outside even in a windy day!

The view from the porch is the star of the property, where we spent most of our time. There are walking/hiking trails easily accessible from the property. Grocery stores, Farmers Market and restaurants are all close. We took a day trip to Mendocino to enjoy the galleries and shops. The staff at the Rental Office was available and helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay at this property.

I had to go out and buy King size sheets because I don't own a King size bed. There were plenty of sheets and towels in the closet. Other than that, it was a lovely home.

Beach Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was lovely. Unfortunately I broke my metatarsals, four of them while falling off the stair to the master bedroom. The stair looks flush with the hallway and is not recognizable. This ordeal was more than painful and I am still recovering, after many doctor appointments. It would be good if the owners would adjust the bill and or give more than only one night free. However, when we attempted to stay again at the same house via reservations a few weeks ago, we were told that we would have to add an extra day to our stay of four days and make it five days. Where is the comp day that the owners/beach rental management said they would give? We did not feel it fair to add an extra day when we only wanted four days. Please address this with all involved as this was and still is a painful experience and we do not mean ill will. It just does not seem fair. Other rentals would be fine. I would suggest that for future guests, that the stair be represented in some way, as it is a hazard. Thank you.

“We were sorry to hear that one of our guests said she fell in the home. She reported that she had not turned on the lights when entering the home at night and was walking to the bedroom carrying something and did not see the 4” differential in flooring when entering the master bedroom from the hallway-there are no stairs. If the lights had been on she would have seen that the hallway is wood floor and the area into the MBR is carpet and the drop is clearly evident. There are 3 light fixtures within 10’ of this point but they must be switched on to be effective. As a gesture of good will, the guests were offered one free night during their next stay. They requested to use their free night over Christmas as part of a 4 day stay. Our management company, Beach Rentals, has a holiday policy that requires a minimum 5 night stay over Christmas. The guests were told they could use the free night at that time but it would require a total stay of 5 nights or they could use the free night during a non-holiday period when the 5 night requirement is not in force. Rather than exercising one of these options, they wrote this review. In order for the guests to have the greatest flexibility in arranging future stays in the area, we will withdraw the offer of a free night and replace it with a refund of the rental fee for one night of their prior stay.
