The host was very friendly and accessible via text, which was especially nice since we were visiting over the holidays. The house was nicely furnished with Christmas decorations throughout. It was a really welcoming place.
The house was wonderful, plenty of room for our family. Located on a quaint little town.

Very conveniently located
We so enjoyed our stay at this charming little house in Augusta, MO. The creaky floors that others complained about didn’t bother us. In fact they added charm. The sun porch was great to sip coffee and enjoy. It was literally feet away from the Katy trail and easy to access for my morning run. We were there for a wine conference and literally were right across the street from where we needed to be and easily could go back between sessions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
Great home base for wedding in the area. Perfect for our group of seven, including adult and teenage children. Enjoyed the charm of the house and the location near winery, brewery and Katy trail.
This cozy home was very well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Nice outside back porch area and great swing on the front porch. Several wineries within walking distance. Cute friendly town. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Perfect home for our extended family to stay over the Christmas holiday. Lovely house. Clean and even decorated for Christmas!

Girls’ trip to Augusta
We rented this cute house for an annual girls’ trip. It was a perfect house for the 4 of us - clean and comfortable and a perfect location to explore the town of Augusta. The house had everything we needed or wanted. We would love to return some day!
Myself and 3 long-time friends visited Augusta and stayed in this cute house. It was perfect and was such a good location for us to explore all that the area had to offer. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed, including some really nice hand soaps and shower gels, games and a well stocked kitchen. We would love to come back!

Grateful for the space
Two friends and I gathered here to work on a creative project and spend quality time together. The space was just the perfect amount of cozy and comfortable. Everything was super clean. We felt very safe and cared for. Only wish we had been able to stay longer. The town was sleepy in the off season and that was just fine with us. The few folks we encountered were friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
Lovely old home that has been updated to offer great comfort.
A bit of a drive to Hwy 94 and the wineries. But if you like to sit and have conversations over a glass of wine, this is the house for you. NO restaurants in Augusta, but there is a fully stocked kitchen.

Cozy and relaxing
We stayed here for a long overdue girls trip and had a wonderful time. This quaint home was so cozy that we stayed in a couple of nights and played games, drank wine and caught up. We slept well (minus a squeaky floor) and and had breakfast on hand. The outdoor seating and the views were so nice. It was fun walking around this cute small town - including the convenitnent nearby wineries. We also happened on an art festival in a nearby town. This was a perfect place and vacation getaway that ended way too soon. It was hard to leave!
The place was fine except that the floors squeaked so bad upstairs that getting out of bed woke up the entire house. We couldn't stand to walk around upstairs even during the day because of the excessively noisy floors. Also, we have stayed in nicer rentals for less recently, so I think it was priced too high. Would not recommend.

Thanks for sharing your feedback—we’re glad to hear the stay was fine overall, though we’re sorry the noisy floors were such a disruption. We shared your comments with the homeowner, and they wanted to pass along the following:- Many guests have shared that the creaky floors add to the charm and character of our nearly 100-year-old home, originally built in 1942. We’ll be adding this detail to our listing so future guests know what to expect.- Our rates are thoughtfully set to reflect the value of a 3-bedroom home in Augusta that comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests. We’re grateful for your feedback as we strive to maintain the 5-star experience guests expect.

This was the perfect place for our bride and family as we prepared for our daughter's wedding on 9/25
Got in earlier than expected, all was very comfortable, and the view of the river valley is gorgeous. Right across the street to Mt. Pleasant and Augusta is around the corner.
Such a nice home to rent. The owners had it well stocked with coffee, tea and all linens were provided. Although it had internet, there was no tv, and I was actually glad for that!
