We loved the house which couldn’t be in a better location. Most importantly the owner was very accessible and responsive. Great views and well equipped with everything you need. Would happily rent again.
The home is located steps from the vail shuttle and never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Also easy walk to the village or lions head. Great views of mountain and gore creek.
Great Location - Superb Communication - Well Appointed
Larry was an awesome host, his communication was flawless and timely for any questions pre trip and while staying there. Property has a ton of space for a big group, we had 12 adults. Well appointed kitchen and an ideal location to get between Vail and Lionshead - the bus stop right out front was very convenient.
The place is amazing, it has a great location and it´s beautiful. We really enjoyed our vacations
My only suggestion is to talk to the neighbor . He was constantly coming into the property and was not friendly at all.
This was our second year staying at this amazing home and we have already booked our third trip next year. The home is very well located between Vail Village and Lionshead making it convenient to enjoy all the area has to offer. It very spacious and sleeps our group of 10 very comfortably, with amazing mountain views, and wonderful amenities including the hot tub and pool table. A wonderfully located home great for larger families or groups.
We just checked out of this property and our group was very happy with our stay. The house slept 10 very comfortably and was very well equipped with everything we needed. The pool table and hot tub were nice amenities! The location was fantastic and was a quick five minute walk to Vail Village or Lionshead, and was directly on the bus route to boot! The views from the living room of the creek and mountains were amazing! We already booked our stay again for next year, and can't wait to return!
This is a great place to stay for larger groups. Plenty of space and the rooms / beds are as shown on the website, plenty of bathrooms. The Hot tub is great to relax after a day out, the fireplace adds to the charm of the place. Large kitchen, well stocked with everything you need including a large BBQ on the terrace, reliable Wifi. The house is in between the Lionshead and Vail gondolas, a bus service runs every few minutes in both directions, it takes about 10 minutes to get to Lionshead with the bus or about a 15 minute lovely walk along the river. Check in / out were a breeze, correspondence with the host straightforward and immediate.
Great house with a ski trip! We had 6 couples and we each had our own bedroom, and space to hangout in the evenings. The hot tub and fireplace were a nice touch. The home was generally clean, the bathrooms were nice, and everything worked properly. The location right between Lionshead Village and Vail Village was amazing, we walked to dinner each night. The best part was the bus stop right in front of the home, which made for easy drop off after a long day of skiing. Great visit, thank you Larry!
This property is in a beautiful location and close to both sides of Vail (the Village and Lionshead). Easily accommodates the 12 that it lists. Communication with property manager was easy. Shuttle stop is directly in front of house, making it easy to get to the base at Lionshead or Vail.
Literally the best location in Vail between Vail Village and Lionshead. Once you arrive you will not need a car. Shuttle stop right in front of property. The home itself is cozy with a great deck and views from the back of the property.
The home itself is rather long in the tooth, a 70s/80s lodge style. Not all windows operable. Tech setup is old. "Living room" areas are split between floors, so if you have a large group that might interfere with being together.
Awesome house. Feels as if you are stepping back in time.Great Location - right in between Vail villageand Lionshead. The in-town bus stops directly in front of the house every 7 minutes like clockwork. The walk to Eagle Bahn gondola took me 6 min 50 seconds in ski boots.Larry is a great host with excellent communication. He usually responds in seconds, and never took longer than a couple minutes to respond. Amazing views of golden peak. Propery is right on Gore Creek. Two wood burning fireplaces with at least a month’s supply of wood conveniently located just outside the door. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side. Though the house is clearly advertised as being 3,050 sq feet. So with 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, “cozier” spaces are to be expected. The bottom line is that both the house and the host exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend!
It is no secret that this is an older property. For us it is part of the charm. You can not beat the amazing location. For my parents (almost 90) it works great because it is such a short distance to town, and the bus stops both ways right infront of the driveway.
