This home has what you need to enjoy Lake St. Clair! First Toys! we have a 13 passenger pontoon boat equipped with a water chariot (better than a tube), and a flotation pad that will hold 1500 lbs, a lot of fun when your rafting! You'll be able to spend some great time at Munchies' bay, boat to a restaurant, see a sunset from the water, or fish!

We have a jetski at Swan River for your enjoyment-promise 1, usually have 2. Also, we have 4- 8 foot kayaks for you to explore the Swan Creek, St John's Marsh, and the other water trails in the area. Next, space--Swan River Haven is on 2 lots, which means you could probably park 6 or more cars, and have a little more room and privacy. We have 160 feet of seawall, which means you have 160 feet to tie up boats! We have Power at the dock too! The house is on Swan Creek, and also on a canal, two different water views and uses! The young kids just love to kayak in the canal, and the shallow water and easy view makes it easy to supervise them. We prefer check ins on any day other than Sunday, but we do accommodate .

If born after 1978, you have to have a watercraft safety license to operate any boat with a motor. It is easy to get, one from your state or province acceptable. We will show you how to operate our boat, and the lake land marks. Great sport fishing in the area, Walleye, Small and Large mouth bass, Perch, Pike, etc. Many restaurants, most reasonably priced, are nearby, some accessible by boat. We have a completely remodeled kitchen with with white ornamental granite, new appliance, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the gear. Fully equipped kitchen means, a blender to make your smoothies, a Keurig for your coffee and hot chocolate (we have K-cup pods for your use), regular Mr. Coffee coffee maker (we have coffee/filters provided), hand mixer, toaster, stainless steel pots and pans, assortment of baking pans, hotel style waffle maker, crockpot and deep fryer. We have a washer and dryer for your use (along with soap etc) We have a grill and griddle and if needed we can have a electric smoker and turkey fryer!!! We have 2 bedrooms --- 1st one has 2-queen size beds and 2nd has 1-queen size and 1 twin size bed. Living room has not 1 but 2 queen sleeper sofas with and extra 1.5" of gel memory foam for your comfort. Both Bedrooms have 43 inch smart tv's. The Living room has a large 65 inch Vizio Smart tv.! State Park nearby by with pistol, skeet, and archery ranges. International border with Canada only 10 miles away. Detroit, is less than an hour, and arts, sports, museums , and culture are there. WE ARE UNABLE TO HAVE ANY PETS!

IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL ORIENTATIONS, THERE IS A $100.00 FEE. BEST TO HAVE "ALL" YOUR GUESTS ARRIVE AT THE SAME TIME AND YOU WILL NOT INCUR ANY ADDITIONAL ORIENTATION FEES.

NOTE: We pull all watercraft out of the water from October 1st to May 1st, so they will not be available during this time period.

Great Place at St. Clair

We were visiting St. Clair for a bass tournament. The house set up great for us with plenty of space and parking. House was clean and the owners, Mark and Joyce, were great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend Swan River Haven!!

Our stay at Swan River Haven was wonderful! Even for our family of 10, we felt like we had enough space. The amenities were just perfect. The jet skis, pontoon boat, kayaks, fire pit, and more made our trip even better. Our kids loved it, too!! The only bad thing was that we wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful place, Terrific Value!

Better than advertised! Joyce was there to welcome us and show us the place, which was very well stocked with bathroom supplies, kitchen items and even coffee! We didn't want for anything during our stay. Sparkling clean, great location, very quiet at night, new appliances, couldn't ask for more. Dock for our boat and easy access to the lake were a big plus. Highly recommend for group or family.

Wonderful home right on the water. Great to relax on the back porch. We ate every meal in grilled outside and awesome gas stove kitchen inside. Plenty of room to park your boat with electric inside the garage to charge batteries.

We needed a place close to family so this was perfect. Home is well stocked with linens. Updated kitchen which will allow you to cook a meal if needed. Close to New Baltimore where you will find shops and restaurants.

Below expectations

The owners were very pleasant on the phone and definitely communicated a lot to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. We found the house to be small. While it has been updated they could’ve went with to better bedding. Parking is difficult if you bring a bass boat. House could have been cleaner. Not sure why I had to pay a cleaning fee since we add to clean the bathroom and sweep up a bit as well as a long list of cleaning chores we were responsible for upon departure. We wanted to use the boat lift but could not get the lift to go down in the water. The garage was completely stuffed full of stuff and unusable . While the owners were very nice, it seemed like they were at the property a few times while we were out on the water enjoying the lake. I guess I would expect when I rent a home that we are the only ones at the property. The neighbors seem to be good people but definitely no privacy as they would walk through the property leaving us to close the blinds when we were at the home for some sense of privacy. I am not sure I would stay here again.

Perfect Fishing Getaway

Fair Haven property was great! Mark & Joyce were very welcoming and provided a lot of items (k-cups!) that made our stay easy & prevented runs to the store. Great access to boat launch ramps, anything you need is close by. Highly recommend!

I grew up in the area, and always loved the lake. Lake St. Clair is 430 square miles, runs on the Canadian border, and ships from all parts of the world traverse its waters. We want you to see and experience the lake-that's why we furnish a boat! We know the area, and will help you enjoy it too!

Why they chose this property

Turn key fun is one of the best ways to maximize your time with friends and family- we have the toys! Don't have to look for watercraft rentals-we provide! The water chariot is a blast, and the flotation pad is a riot when you raft. There are several Kayak trails in the area, and you have kayaks to experience them. We try to do everything to make your stay the best, like adding an inch and a half of gel /memory foam to the sleeper sofas to make them even more comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped, even 2 different coffee makers. We are hands on owners, know our property and equipment, and usually can take care of any problems that arise. You have the unusual benefit of a canal and a river to dock in, and unlike many waterfront properties, have plenty of parking. If your fishing, your in a very good area for bass, pike, and perch, and at the mouth of the river , Walleye. great places to raft and anchor are nearby if you like to enjoy a lunch on and in the water. Several restaurants are nearby, some accessible by boat, and most moderately priced.
