Stay away!

Stay away from this property. We were booked in for 2 nights and had to leave early because of safety issues with the neighbours! They decided to have a huge party all night, flashed lights inside the property and doing a bone fire right outside the property !! I advised the property manager who said she would follow up with the owner but never updated me on anything. Useless company too! Contacted their customer service several times and no response !

Beautiful stay! Just right for my family we had so much fun on the kayak and my kids even made friends with the neighbours who were also renting the property. All in all such a relaxing place to be rain or shine. THANKS!

Very nice

Very nice views. The house came with a kayak so take a trip up the little rivers nearby. You are out of Taupo so you can be right up to the lake (in town, the road is there) and have the beach out the patio. The flowers on the beach were nice in the late spring. The house had all the conveniences and was clean. The BBQ was a nice touch. The house got only four stars because it the Bachcare stocking of it seemed skimpy - we are expected to clean up but were provided a half roll of paper towels and ran out. The TP nearly ran out (although we eventually discovered the 2nd bathroom in the garage). For the price, it is a steal, however; quite cozy and functional. It was as advertised, nice for families, and I'd certainly stay there again.

Great location, Lots of Privacy, Nice warm house , Got everything that you need for a great holiday. Kids had a ball running up and down the lake. Locals were friendly. Have to visit again in the summer at some stage.

Unbeatable waterfront location, gorgeous retro interior; everything you could need for a comfortable stay, without anything gimmicky or over-the-top. Fenced section perfect for letting kids and dogs run around, and right on the beach so zero hassles getting everyone rounded up for swimming, fishing, kayaking or any other lake adventures. Cosy, comfortable, well-equipped and right on the water - a great place to stay!

The location was 5 stars with privacy + and superb view.

The location was 5 stars with privacy + and superb view.It was exactly as I expected....a kiwi Bach with old original fittings,well loved furniture and basic equipment.The bed was more comfortable than the one I sleep in at home...and the heat pump was a bonus as it was very cold while we were there and it kept us cosy.No frills,but that's what I like....with a lovely walk by the river and an easy drive to Taupo or scenic drive south to Turangi.Plan to return as was able to really relax here.
