Carolina Getaway Cabins has the perfect accommodation for your family vacation or mountain getaway. The cabin is located in a private mountain in Mount Airy, NC near the Blue Ridge Mountains, Mayberry, Yadkin Valley Wine Country.

Entire House includes:
Private Master Suite on the Loft area with a sitting area overseeing the view of the mountains
Very spacious great room with an open layout kitchen/dining and fireplace as high as the cathedral ceilings with views of the mountains and access to the deck
2 private bedrooms on main floor by the living / dining area with a full bath in the hall.
2 private bedrooms on lower level with a full bath and a movie room with theater seating area with 2 Murphy beds / futon bunk bed.
A game room with its own television / seating area/ pool table, games, half bath and access to front porch with upper private room with two beds.
Hot tub, BBQ Grill, play area all available to our guests.

Entire House

Prior to check-in, guests must communicate with our team by filling out our guest information form which provides their entire guest list along with a valid government ID for the primary guest on the reservation and a signed rental agreement. Upon receiving the required documents, guests will receive the access information to the property at the time of check-in. Our team can be reached via phone, email, or app during the stay for any questions.

Located in Paradise Mountain Estates, a luxurious private gated community behind Camp Raven Knob.

It has 3 airports to come into Charlotte Douglas a little over an hour away as well as Concord Regional and Greensboro.

$500 security deposit will be collected if any damage is done to the property or if any house rules or policies that are broken.
We are a privately gated community in the middle of Wine Country that inspires enjoyment and pleasure with the amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests providing access to the mountain to anyone outside of the included guest count is not allowed.
This home sleeps up to 18 guests.
Pets require a fee for the duration of the stay. Events must be pre-approved by host and may require additional fees. Full guest list required prior to check-in and ID required

Lovely Stay

My family of 21 had an excellent stay at the beautiful home! The home is beautiful and the location is breath taking. Natalie was easy to reach and able to answer all questions. A lovely place big enough for the whole family.

Wine Tour Weekend

Rented for a large group of girls on a long weekend. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Ample parking. Private, yet conveniently located for wine tours of the Yadkin valley.

Staff Retreat

This is a beautiful cabin! We had a little trouble checking in due to the wrong gate code being provided, and there is no cell phone service at the gate. We also had a few internet issues which made streaming our retreat content difficult. However the cabin is gorgeous and was super clean! It enabled us to social distance while working and to relax in the quiet.

However, these being large cabins with three stories, there are areas in lower level basement where it does get weak at times. We are here to assist with any questions. Overall we had a great time

There are no bunk beds in the house. The hot tub was not clean or working upon arrival but they did get that fixed. The second refrigerator did not work. When you have 15 people a second fridge is pretty handy. The front door code didn't work bc batteries were dead. They sent someone to replace batteries but the code didn't work. There were a lot of wasps on the front deck particularly by the steps where we had to walk. They were constantly flying into cars. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

Thank you for your review. The property is described with the beds in each room. We apologize about the outside wasps. It may be inevitable to control certain insects during the summer months outdoors as we are in a mountain. However, we do exterminate monthly to keep control. We have a maintenance crew that is available to go if anything occurs. Unfortunately, it is a bit unpredictable to know when batteries die. However, we have placed a new system along with a lock box with a code to have access with a key which will unlock in case the code does not open the door. So far it has worked flawlessly. As per the additional refrigerator, we have a new one at the property. We understand that this is a great convenience for our guests. We hope to have you again during 2020 and would love to treat you to a complimentary Wine Tasting at Shelton Vineyards during your next getaway. Thank you for being a great guest! We stayed here for our team’s baseball tournament in Dobson and we couldn’t have been happier. Awesome location for vineyard’s and/or hiking if we weren’t at the baseball fields all day…. Our kids had so much fun in the actual house too… All of them are under 10 and the house had air hockey, golden tee, a pool table and so much space for them to run around and just be kids. Loved this place, it was truly a hidden gem. The management team was on top of all our needs as well. We would definitely come back here again!

Beautiful property

We stayed with our Group of friends for Thanksgiving this year. Very spacious accommodations...beautiful location, beautiful house and peaceful.surroundings. The outdoor deck was beautiful for enjoying morning coffee, sunrise and sunsets. The surrounding trails were enjoyed for morning and evening hikes with gorgeous views. We drove down to Pilot Mountain state park...it was a short drive away and had beautiful views. Items.to be aware of....as you approach the gated community....cell signal is difficult so make sure.you have received the access codes..before you approach the house. The.correct codes were sent to us at 4 but because of lack of signal...we had to call the number and ask for codes again. The other item to be aware of is there are flies or wasps which keep falling on the floor in the living room and required us to be on the lookout and be swept out.

Girls weekend getaway

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space and peaceful location. We had everything we needed for lots of cooking, laughs and relaxing. We contacted management for a couple of minor issues and they were addressed immediately. We went to Mt Airy for the afternoon and loved strolling around town. Be sure to take advantage of the DG before the last leg into the property. It’s not that far if you need something, but a little out of the way to just run out to pick up something. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

Amazing house, very spacious for large groups like mine. The views were also incredible, especially during the fall weather we’ve been enjoying lately! Already missing it and ready to go back to stay soon.

FANTASTIC PLACE

We booked our wedding there, and had to rent 2 cabins to accommodate enough people, but it worked out SO well! Everything was beautiful, and even better than described! I couldn't be happier!

Big group stay

Our group of 21 really enjoyed our time at Nicole's cabin. It was spacious but also offered a lot of little intimate spaces. There are neighbors around but not in a way that impacted our stay. The hot tub was out of commission but, frankly, it was probably too hot for that anyway and we were just a short drive from the river! We had hikers, brewery visitors, and lots of loungers - it was a really great visit and we will definitely check out Nicole's properties in the future.

Beautiful Cabin in a Beautiful Area

Very spacious cabin with many bedrooms. My friends and I enjoyed this cabin with a ton of great open space, a beautiful view, and great area. We enjoyed morning coffee on the large open deck. Area was great with local vineyards close. We had the best time!
