A gas grill and picnic table create a beautiful back yard BBQ experience surrounded by forest and farmland where you're sure to see an abundance of wildlife! Hike or fish Douglaston Salmon Run’s private 2.5 miles of the Salmon River via the trail from your own back yard! Or access the river from the private stream side parking area, located just 1/8 mile from your lodge. Just a short drive from Lake Ontario beaches.

Great place to stay, very clean and orderly. We never met the house keeper, but cudos!The house has a heated gear room, where all the fishing stuff can be left before entering the house. Perfect place for a few days .

The Lodge was clean and cozy and the beds were comfortable. There was excellent communication with the host. I liked that light switches and the location of extra linens were clearly labelled. Would stay here again.

Great , Quiet location

We extended our stay until the 18th , having a wonderful time here. This beautiful, home ( lodge)was impeccably clean and inviting!! Very comfortable, could not be more perfect. This definitely is our new place to stay. Very spacious, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. Stocked with everything you’ll need to cook and eat. Can’t say enough about it!! The proximity to town is awesome!!

Our stay went great. The home is comfortable and clean. We found everything we needed and the location is convenient for our needs. Having the space to remove out fishing gear away from the main living area was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless. Good wifi and easy access to home. The Barclay family opened Douglaston Salmon Run in 1987 as a private-water sports-fishery. The property has been in the family since 1807, when it was settled by Colonel Rufus Price, an Aide-de-Camp to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
