Perfect for a relaxing weekend away

I stayed here for my first trip to the island and could not have asked for a better experience. The house is a short drive to the ferry, in a quiet neighborhood and has a view of the Ocean. The suite is beautiful. Modern but still cozy and comfortable with so many thoughtful touches. The private hot tub area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. Hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. I look forward to staying here again!

This SPARKLING CLEAN suite is exactly as advertised. It’s beautiful and completely relaxing. The extra special and thoughtful touches from the hosts really made us feel welcome. It’s close to the beach and a great central location for exploring Vancouver island. I would recommend this place to anyone! 10/10!

Must stay in Nanamio

We stayed at Micheal’s Bayview for a few days during the second week of September and it was excellent. When we first contacted Micheal we asked if the outdoor space was available. Micheal provided full disclosure and explained that they were close to completeing their backyard renovation that had been in the works for about a year, and include a hot tub and deck, but could not guarantee it would be completed before we arrived. We choose to book and hope it would be complete. The deck and hot tub were completed the day we arrived and the furniture was delivered on day 2, and it was beautiful. We enjoyed a dinner and a breakfast on the deck and it was very pleasent. When we arrived at the Bayview, Micheal and Robyn had a cold refreshment and two sweet treats waiting for us, which was very kind and which we really enjoyed. The accommodations was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It’s in a very quite residential area, so the nights were remarkable quite allowing for a relaxed sleep. Overall Micheal and Robyn were excellent hosts offering superb accommodations, and if you are planning a visit to the Nanamio area this is a must stay.

Beautiful rental

My fiance and I enjoyed a weekend in Nanaimo, and this property and its idyllic location was one of our main highlights. Michael and Robyn are great communicators, and were helpful throughout our stay. Michael suggested a lovely hike (Sugerloaf Mountain), which is walking distance from the property... and it was the perfect way to watch the sunset. Nothing but good things to say about this rental and the hosts.

Welcome Home

I stayed at Michael and Robyn's mid-week for each of the past 9 weeks. Each Monday that I return and walk through the door it always reminds me of walking into a spa (the aroma and quiet). After a long day of work it was a relaxing place to go back to. It also allowed me to go for walks to the beach, and swim during our hot spell thus summer, walk around the neighborhood and to the nearby parks. Each night before bed I always looked forward to my Nespresso in the morning! The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is comfy and the private bathroom is well appointed. Michael and Robyn are terrific hosts. Very thoughtful, considerate, accomodating of your needs and excellent communicators. AND the beer left in your fridge is a very tasty and a nice welcome home. Quiet, Clean and Cozy

I was welcomed into a clean cozy apartment with a cold beer and nanaimo bars in the fridge. The apartment has all the amenities required and a lot of nice little "extras" . The reason I was there is because I was working away from home. As I was working, I was a little worried about how quiet it would be. I was pleasantly surprised that it was very quite. The apartment is located in a nice residential area and is a short walk down to the beach (5 -10 min). Michael and Robyn went out of there way to ensure that my booking, check in and stay were convenient and pleasant. They are awesome hosts!

Incredible Hosts

Small and Sophisticated

This property is extremely well appointed. It is small in stature, yet the owner's have appointed it so well, it shows and feels like a grande suite. There is everything that you could require and more. This is a very quite property, close to everything in Nanaimo.
