About this property

Gorgeous 4200 Sq Ft 6-bedroom Mediterranean Villa located on a quiet canyon in Mission Hills. This home has custom ironwork fencing and several balconies surrounding the home along with an outdoor patio that sleeps up to 10 people. The stunning newly renovated designer kitchen and attached family room are a modern and elegant hub for the family!

A dramatic staircase leads to the master suite with views to downtown. Each bedroom features a foam topper mattress and a total of 4 King and 4 Queen plus one sofa double bed. We do charge a per person per day fee for each guest over ten and this must be approved by the host. We vet each group carefully so that there are no events or any possibility of disturbances in our very quiet canyon in respect to our neighbors as we employ video monitors around the outside of property: 1) One that faces to the street that will capture any front yard noise or disturbances, and 2) One in the backyard that faces sideways, not pointed towards the inside of the home. If you're here to create an event or party, this is not the house for you. If you're here for location, tranquility, and luxury, you've found your spot!

Read the Fine Print...

This very pricey house turned out great for our family (9 of us) to attend our niece's wedding. This was the only VRBO listing we saw that had a non-refundable deposit (which i missed when making the reservation six months prior to event). The owner refused to provide the address saying that VRBO would provide a day or so before check in. The house rules sent in January were disconcerting including "...groups of people coming and going after 11PM...will be immediately escorted off the property without refund." Who gets home from a rehersal dinner or a wedding before 11PM? We were intimidated but followed the rules to keep their use of home as a rental a secret to the neighborhood, In the end, we respected the curfew imposed by the owner and had a lovely time reconnecting with our geographically disbursed sons/family. We will hesitate to use VRBO again. The property manager, Matthew and the actual house were terrific.

Exceptional stay

This is an immaculate well maintained property. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The master suite was the highlight. I was there with group of students and colleagues for conference. This place is good for business trip but would have enjoyed more with Family. Only thing we would have appreciated is few basic cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, oil ...etc) stocked in kitchen.

This property is for the discriminating traveler who would like to experience a unique combination of A+++ Location, Countryside/quiet/peaceful setting, yet just a short bicycling distance to Little Italy and Downtown San Diego! The home is dramatic, exquisitely designed, and in a safe and comfortable upscale neighborhood. Within a 5 mile radius, you can attend about 90% of all the famous attractions that San Diego is known for! There are three floors of space, stunning canyon patio/back yard with grill, and wonderful patios throughout the home that are perfect for stepping out and watching the Parrots, observing the Monarch Butterfly Garden, or enjoying a glass of wine with a view.

The moment you step into the home, it has an almost "breathtaking" effect with it's wide and open rooms that give it an instant comfort for any group.
