Everything We Needed & More

Our visit to San Diego was that much better because of our accomodations. The house had everything we needed and more! It was so great to be able to spend the day galevanting and be able to come back and relax for dinner. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. If our family is headed back to San Diego I would definitely book here again! Enoguh space that you can still get your quiet time if needed.

Terrific house and location. We visited with my two toddlers as well as four 80 year olds and the house was perfect. It was great to have three bedrooms on the main floor for the older people so they didn’t need to go up and down the stairs. The deck and balcony were awesome and our kids loved watching all of the planes from the deck and dining room. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool was lovely. Will definitely stay again in the future. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

This home had everything you could ever want. Really felt like home. Awesome views, clean pool with lots of pool toys, clean hot tub. Well appointed kitchen and good coffee maker. Very comfortable beds. Outdoor balconies had plenty of seating to enjoy the views and lights of San Diego.

A great week for our family of 10! We were so close to the sights we wanted to see and then we could cool off at the house in the pool. Plenty of room for everyone and fantastic hosts.

There was ten of us (6 adults and 4 children). The space was perfect and the pool was awesome. We cooked a lot and the space was great for that. The spaces to just chill indoor and out was great!

We had a family including a 1 year old crawler . There was a quiet room upstairs for naps. The 3 levels allowed so much room and gathering areas. The view esp. from the upstairs balcony was terrific esp. for the 4th of July fireworks. The pool and hot tub were perfect. We were close to a grocery store and easy drive to the beach. All the toys towels and umbrellas made for light packing on our part. Great response from owners! Great vacation spot!!!

Point Loma vistas from a quiet neighborhood

The house was easy to get to, had a wealth of sleeping options, and was completely suited for family time with a large group of folks coming into San Diego from all over the country. The decks and views were a true bonus.

Great House, Great Location

Our family stayed here a week for our annual family gathering, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The house is cozy, has everything the guest needs in regards to linens, kitchen items, etc., and Charlie was extremely responsive, even proactive, to the few questions we had. Cia is great as well, and the location is fantastic, within 10-20 minutes from many of the attractions our family visited. Additionally, the hot tub and pool were nice treats. We honestly can't say enough good things about this experience. Will definitely stay again if we get back to San Diego. I highly recommend this property, particularly for family gatherings.

Perfect house for a family reunion!

Can't say enough about how great this house is for a large group. I spent weeks searching for just the right property, and it payed off. Awesome owners, and the house is clean and well appointed. Lots of pool and beach toys, even a ping pong table. Pool and hot tub are sootless. None of us wanted to leave, and we're all hoping we can stay again in the future. Super popular property, be sure to book well in advance!

Family Girl's Weekend

We had a fantastic girls get-away weekend. There were 11 of us. The house is spacious with plenty of room and activities for everyone. The pool was a big plus. The location was perfect. It was an easy launching pad for all of our weekend excursions. We were within in 10-20 minutes of everything. The property was clean and accurate to the listing. The hosts were friendly and very easy to interact with. Check-in and Check-out was super easy.

Perfect

We live on the east coast. It's difficult to pick the right place. Thank you to my sister for introducing us to this home and the owners for our week on San Diego. It could not have been better. They made sure everything was just right. The views, pool, hot tub,and location were just fantastic. The house had everything and more, not to mention a very comfortable king bed in the master bedroom. We all want to do it again. Don't miss out on this one!

Beautiful, Updated Home, with Commanding Views. Equally Impressive Owners.

We had a great time staying at this home. It's one of those, when you first scope out the place, you keep saying to yourself: This is a nice home! It's spacious and clean and has lots of modern amenities. The kitchen is well stocked. The pool is larger than we thought it would be and has the most fun toys of any vacation home pool that I have ever seen, and we have seen many. Great hot tub. This home has multiple decks with a 270-degree view of most of beautiful San Diego, including soul-feeding bay views. These great views result from this house sitting at the top of a hill. Its excellent location provided a great jumping off point for many fun activities: Balboa Park, Dog Beach, the downtown harbor area, and more. We had a great time on the Patriot Jet speedboat ride. If you are into thrills in a beautiful setting, give it a try. Cia and Charlie are positive people who aim to please without being intrusive: ideal hosts. Thanks for a great stay!

We thought the property was very appropriate for the family, with multiple entertainment areas to bring us all together. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the property and our trip. We felt at home all week. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better! We were no more than 20 minutes from all of our desired attractions and destinations.

Awesome Experience

Cia and Charlie's house in Point Loma was a perfect fit for our group of 10 family members, ages 4 months to 85 years. It was located about 5 minutes from our convention venue near shelter island as well as lots of great food options (and a Ralphs just down the street) in Point Loma. We had downstairs bedrooms for the older ones who had trouble with stairs, a kitchen that was better stocked than most of the rentals we've stayed in, an amazing pool and hot tub, and THOSE VIEWS! The upper story has a deck that is perfect for watching sunrise, sunset, or the nightly fireworks from Seaworld. It also has a table inset fire pit with outdoor heaters above the space to keep everyone warm once the sun goes down. We love, love, LOVED this place, and would definitely stay here again. Cia was great with instructions and comms before our stay, and Charlie met us at the house and gave us a very thorough overview of the property and all of its features. Overall, a place that is well located (5-10 minutes to Ocean Beach or SeaWorld or Shelter Island or the airport), provided by people who were awesome hosts, featuring a property that offered everything our group wanted, and more. I couldn't recommend this house, and Cia and Charley, more highly. Thank you for allowing us to experience this wonderful house!

Love this place and the owners are awesome

As victims of the IT outage resulting in our flight being cancelled and rescheduled days later, we unfortunately didn't get the chance to enjoy all of our reserved days at this outstanding property. We will definitely try to arrange staying here in the future if the owners would have us. In addition to the pool, jacuzzi, grill and ping pong table where the awesome views and daily fireworks from Se World. This is probably as close to heaven on earth as it gets!

This is our family home. We raised our four children here and this has been the most amazing place we've ever lived. We never tire of the spectacular views and the cool breezes make for comfortable days and nights all year round.

Why they chose this property

We lived a block away and when this house came up for sale we attended the opening. We knew immediately this was perfect for our family. We loved our old house but it was small and had only one bathroom This place had everything we needed and then some - it even had a pool! After living here 15 years and the kids are grown we embarked on this new adventure of VRBO. We are so excited! We stayed in a VRBO in Durango, CO one summer and were so impressed with the whole idea we decided to try it ourselves. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
