After a fun-filled day exploring area attractions, relax on your own private balcony and enjoy spectacular views of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains or the scenic Little Pigeon River. The resort is within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg and offers convenient amenities.

Great location but needs updating

The location is great, walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. The room was just ok. The bathroom is in need of an update. Tub looked bad, wouldn't drain, and shower pressure was bad. The Wi-Fi at the resort would only connect on the balcony, which isn't great in winter! Overall, it was a decent place for the price.

This should not be classified as a resort.

The price is to high for the room you get, they are still outdated except for the bedding which on one of our beds there was a hard stain so we know that they don't change the bedding after each stay. The pool was OK it was a little dirty with stuff in the water and the onsite restaurant was not worth the 50.00+ for the four of us to eat. We had to ask them to put more stuff out on the buffet bar and the food should of been better for the price. The only reason we picked here was it allowed dogs, and yes they charge a non refundable 170.00 charge for the stay for cleaning up after the animals. I am not sure what kind of cleaning they do but I am guessing they just clean the rooms as usual unless they spray some deodorizer on the floors I can't see 170.00 worth of cleaning for our room since our pets are kenneled when we are gone. Overall I feel it is over priced for what you get. The only plus is that is walking distance to the strip and its quiet unless you have neighbors that are fighting and screaming for a few nights. The front desk called the police but of course it took forever for them to come and it had settled down. They should have some kind of security on the grounds especially since they call it a resort.
