Whether you choose to spend your time on the property - enjoying the lake, trails, waterfalls, and views - or out and about visiting the spectacular sights, parks (Watkins Glen, Taughannock Falls, The Finger Lakes National Forest, Caywood Point, Lodi Point) wineries, breweries, and restaurants, Falls View Cottage is a comfortable place to connect with friends and family. Fully remodeled in 2018 and filled with modern amenities, we hope it is a home you will enjoy visiting year after year.

Enjoy over 100' of PRIVATE, NATURAL, Seneca Lake beachfront! Our property is bordered by a cool, fresh, creek and many waterfalls! Campfires, s'mores, floating, rock skipping, book reading or active water sports... THIS. IS. YOUR. SPOT.

What is more relaxing? The sound of the breeze rustling the trees? The sound of cascading water falls winding their way from the vineyards above? The sound of waves gently lapping on a shore full of stones, waiting to be skipped? Who knows. But you have your whole stay to decide.

Explore the lake with 3 single kayaks, 1 double kayak, 1 canoe, and 2 stand up paddleboards - included on site!

In the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine, Spirits, and Brewery Trail and just over the hill from some of the finest wineries Cayuga Lake has to offer! Our cottage is a mile of winding vineyard views from the nearest main road but still somehow close to it all!

Central air conditioning will keep you cool and comfortable! And individual controls in each bedroom make sure every person can set their own temperature!

Million dollar views from the deck, living room, and kitchen are picture perfect and give you the nightly east side sunset show you're looking for.

We have no dock or boat hoist and are unable to accommodate jet skis or power boats of any kind.

Our stay was amazing. Beautiful view of the lake and access to kayaks/rafts/firepit on the lake. The cottage was clean and new inside. There were fresh linens, games, dvds, etc. The owners were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Very close to many wineries. We will definitely stay here again!

Girls Trip

Listing was accurate. We had a guest in a wheelchair and the master bedroom and bath were perfect for her. We were so happy that we were able to get her to the lake. Loved the view, and the privacy.

Awesome family time on the water

We didn't have a very long stay came up for my sister's graduation from college so wanted a place relatively close to Ithaca and be on the water. It was perfect for 5 adults and 4 kids. We had a good amount of space. It was clean and nice compared to other places we have stayed in the area. We didn't spend much time inside and it was perfect for what we needed and were looking for.

Great vacation week

Greg was great to work with on his rental and responded promptly with any questions I had. The house was clean and inviting with a great view. The kids loved playing in the creek right by the property and we all loved using the kayaks and paddle board.

This house has great location. You can enjoy the lake even on the raining day as the house has great lake view. They also provide kayaking facilities. Close to a lot of wine yard. We enjoy it.

This cottage was perfect for our girl’s weekend. The location both on and off Seneca Lake was outstanding—close to waterfalls, wineries, and Watkins Glen. We also enjoyed the variety of watercraft available at this property. Many of us were finally able to try SUP, and it was much fun! We would definitely rent here again.

Triathlon Getaway

We had a group of 11 people in the area for the Cayuga Lake Triathlon. We were looking for a place on the water that was big enough to sleep all of us, but wouldn't break the bank. It ended up working out perfectly! It was a great place to stay for all of us. We took advantage of the lake front, kayaks, and paddleboards. Great location in proximity to the great wineries and breweries in the area as well. We may well be back for the race next year!

Beautiful!

This was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking or wine tasting. Far enough out to be relaxing and peaceful but close enough to wonderful hiking, restaurants and wineries. Owners were wonderful and very helpful. Kayaks and paddle boards were an added bonus when we just wanted to hang out. View was spectacular.

Loved our stay.

We were so happy with this property. The place was so clean, up to date, and pretty-the pictures didn’t do it just! The location and views were picturesque. Surprisingly roomy with plenty of beds. Our favorite part was the lakeside fire pit. Greg was helpful and accommodating to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family loves the outdoors, the finger lakes, and s'mores! As a family that faces some mobility issues, we know how hard it is to find truly wheelchair accessible properties and are pleased to share ours. We carefully constructed this property to be the perfect fit for extended families, couples wine tours, or girls weekends. It's in the heart of the beauty and tourism of the finger lakes - but is down a dirt road literally miles (well, 1.25 miles from the noise and bustle).

Why they chose this property

We bought this property as a family to give us a wheelchair accessible lake house to enjoy as a family. We don't know what we like more - the sound of the waves on the beach or the sound of the waterfalls that run along the length of the property.

What makes this property unique

Over 100' of natural beach lakefront, waterfalls, views for miles, nightly sunsets, wheelchair accessible features, and modern conveniences like air conditioning and heat, controlled in each room!
