Thank you! The house was left immaculate. We love that you enjoy the Lakehouse as much as we do! Each year we try to update a little more but keep the vintage feel. The flowers you left us were beautiful. Please come back every year!

We had a wonderful time at Great Bear Lake. We stayed with some of our kids and grandkids. The vacation home was comfortable and well-equipped. There are lots of things indoors and outdoors to keep the kids happy.
Clean, organized, and comfortable home. Easy to find, great location, and well stocked place, Karen texted a few times to share information, and to check on our comfort. She was so helpful!

Perfect lake trip!
The home was clean and welcoming! There was lots to do for both adults and kids! Karen was friendly and very communicative!Perfect family trip to the lake!
We reserved this property last year for my husband’s birthday. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again this year and plan to next year as well. The guys enjoyed fishing and got enough for a fish fry. The kids loved the sandy beach and we all enjoyed the toys they left for us to use. Karen rocked - she made sure we had everything we needed and was a perfect host.
We take an annual trip as a group of friends to a lakehouse, and this location was absolutely superb. We will be returning in future years. The paddle boat and lily pad were big hits. The beds and seating were all comfortable. Great distance to local activities.
While this is an older “vintage” house with some updates, it had plenty of room and was well-stocked with all the necessities and extras both inside and out. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue and was helpful in other areas as well. We enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and the yard games. We were a little farther from South Haven than we wanted, but being at the lake was great and peaceful.
Our family meet at the property to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Karen was a perfect host and returned messages quickly. The property was clean and full of nostalgia and was a perfect fit for our group. The fishing was great and we caught enough for dinner. The sandy portion of the beach was perfect for the little kids. Everyone enjoyed the paddle boat and the dock. I would highly recommend this for a group who wants to enjoy time together.

Wonderful Getaway
We chose this house for our annual vacation. Since we have 4 kids ranging from 9-22, it can be difficult to find places that everyone enjoys. This time we all agreed we had a wonderful time. The home has many bedrooms that offer a lot of privacy. The lake was shallow enough for the little ones but our older ones were able to kayak and paddleboat around the lake. We enjoyed the fully stocked amenities that came with the house. There was no need to pack sand toys or even towels and blankets. We enjoyed our great week away. Thanks Karen!
Our small beach had a lot of geese poop. Was not a good place for little ones to play. We let my 2 year old grandson play in the next door neighbor’s sand with his father supervising him. They didn’t like that. It was a downer for our vacay. Other than that everything was nice.

Hi James, we genuinely appreciate it when guests let us know where we may have fallen short. After reviewing your comments with the homeowner, they’ve asked us to share the following:- Our small lake can accommodate geese, and we do our best to manage their visits. We rake the shore and lawn regularly and provide rakes for guests to use as well. However, geese can return quickly, especially when accompanied by goslings.- To preserve the health of the lake, we maintain a natural shoreline and do not import sand.- Lake weeds may appear seasonally. We remove them as needed and are always happy to stop by during your stay if you would like additional cleanup—just let us know.- For everyone’s comfort and to respect property boundaries, we kindly ask that guests use only the private waterfront area belonging to our home.- Our toddler grandchildren love the sandy lake bottom and the warm, shallow water, and we are committed to maintaining the beach area to ensure it remains welcoming for families. We truly appreciate your feedback.
We enjoyed the cozyness of the house, the access to the beautiful lake right in the back yard, the kind neighbors, the short drive to Lake Michigan. Communication with the owner was fantastic! The house had kayaks, a canoe, water toys for the kids to play with in the lake, the peddle boat and private dock. We cooked in the kitchen often and it had everything we needed. We grilled out several times and again, had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and blankets, and I appreciated the access to the laundry room where we did several loads during our stay. The family had fun playing ping pong in the garage and cornhole in the back yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and it was fun for us to explore the area. We would certainly come back to this house again. What a wonderful experience!
Awesome sandy bottom, great for little kids to swim. Great fishing off the dock, the paddle boat was perfect! House was clean and big enough space, excellent communication. We will be back!
Our group had the best time!! FYI the evolve property managers are not super prompt when you have questions leading up to the weekend….but 48 hours before you get introduced to karent who is fantastic!!! I kept reading reviews of karen who is helpful and thought I was crazy cuz I didn’t know who that was lol.
Amazing lily pad to float on, water was amazing, nice quiet lake—10/10 would recommend!!

Annual trip, already looking forward to next year
We have been staying here a few years now and it is always a great experience. Karen is great to work with, and a wonderful host! The house has everything you need, and then some.
We had such a great time. Everything you need for outdoor activities
Great for a family of 12. The lake is sandy at the shore. Kayaks and peddle boat was a plus. Not much traffic on the lake which was also a plus. The garage has a ping pong table that was fun for tournaments. We will definitely come back.

Homey House
This house has a great deck and porch and lots of toys and games for all ages. The dock, pedal boat and kayaks are a plus and the sandy area near the water is super for young kids. Plenty of dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items. Large grill is great for cooking lots of food quickly. Owner provides lots of helpful information before the stay and is very responsive. There are a number of personal items in the house which can be positive or negative, depending on what you are looking for. Large number of parking spaces in the driveway and across the street.

This was a very comfortable and well equipped house on a quiet and very pretty lake. We enjoyed using the kayaks and pedal boat as well as swimming and sunning on the floating platform. The sandy area and shallow water were perfect for the toddler in our family group. The deck was great for outdoor meals. We hope to return next year.
