Recently remodelled and tastefully furnished, this 3 bedroomed home boasts a unique charm, with many of the original features and woodwork from its almost a century year old building still in tact. Boasting luxurious linens and towels a luxury home away from home.

Close to the city centre, motor point arena, the home of Robin Hood and historical medieval sites
Great transportation links to the city (5 minutes) with vibrant bars and restaurants.

The space:
Welcome to my recently refurbished and tastefully decorated 3 bedroomed home.
An open plan down stairs with large lounge, dining area and modern kitchen.

The lounge area is elegantly decorated with a large velvet sofa and beautiful oversized chair which is positioned the bay window. The mantle features an art deco style mirror above an original fire place surround beneath a multi-fuel stove - Creating and very comfortable relaxing environment , for 5/6 people to seat comfortably to read/watch tv. Perfect for a family or friends sharing time together.

The Dining area, is decorated in blush velvet chairs and features a designer light fittings. A featured fire place nook houses a wine rack and wood for the fire.

The kitchen is modern, bright with a large range style cooker. Boasting a state of the art extractor fan, which you could mistake for a chandelier. Hidden behind shaker style cupboards is are a tall integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher.

The hallway retains the original pantry which houses the washer/dry /laundry room.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, 2 doubles and a single (an extra bed can be added to one of the double bedrooms)
Step into the bathroom to find an oasis, finished with high specification and a walk in shower.

Each double room has hanging storage for clothes, king size beds and decorated with sophistication. Light bright and airy with a feel of glamour.

The single room is compact peaceful and tastefully decorated and comfortable. Perfect for one person.

Access to the garden from the dining room through full length french doors, leading to a seated patio area and lawned garden.

Please note we do live nextdoor to the house and do monitor the premises. The house is located in a residential neighbourhood and we ask you to be mindful of our neighbours.

You will have access to the entire home and garden. Free street parking

We probably stay at about a dozen apartments and homes a year in our travels, often through Airbnb. Oonagh’s home may be our all time favorite: cozy and thoughtful, with a dreamy garden and the softest linens you can imagine after a day of train travel with little kids. We spent much more of our weekend away in her flat than we’d planned, it was so relaxing, and Oonagh was on hand to help with logistical suggestions, snacks and a picnic blanket. A delightful stay!
