About Lanita Medina
Although I was born in California, my parents moved to Camden when I was 8 years old. Reading was I loved to do, and volunteering at the library was perfect until I was old enough to work at Boynton McKay - a cut little coffee shop in downtown Camden. Their Huevos Rancheros are the best! On to nursing school and now my job as a travel nurse takes me away from Camden most of the time.
Lanita Medina purchased this Bungalow in 2010
Why Lanita Medina chose Camden
Nestled at the end of a street, this cute little bungalow beckoned me every time I saw it as I drove by on my way home. Was it the bright red Azaleas, or the smell of fresh green grass in the Summer? You will feel the same when you walk into the sunny sun room. It feels like home from the moment you step in the door.
What makes this Bungalow unique
This 40's style bungalow is just a perfect little getaway; the front porch with the patio set and grill is ready for some fresh lobster, steak, or vegetables. Grab a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the sun room and your favorite book about Maine. It's even close enough to town to take a stroll over to the library, shops, dining, or be adventurous and take a schooner ride. Better yet, kayak on over to Curtis Island with a little lunch. Bring back some memories to the little bungalow and put them right into a scrapbook.

Great time at the bungalow.
This was the third time we stayed with Lanita - first time at this rental. It was everything we could ask for.
Ideal quiet home at end of dead end street
Despite being about 80 yrs old, this home, at the end of a very short street, turned out to be ideal for our needs and that of our 7 lb male papillon dog. Plenty of space for us & for him to run outside without disturbing anyone else. Home is very well maintained and quite clean. Gas grill was spotless although the previous user had left the propane tank valve open with the grill valves closed. As I do at home, I routinely shut off the propane tank valve to prevent problems or possible fire with any grill leak. Excellent & responsive owner. Would definitely stay again if we return to Camden.
A week in Camden
Have made trips to Maine for over 35 years. This was the first non hotel stay. Very enjoyable, for a 7 day stay, it was nice to have the space.
Great little bungalow!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This bungalow was perfect for 2 people. It was close enough to make day trips to Bar Harbor, Augusta and Booth Bay Harbor. So nice to be close to town. So nice to have the notebook of suggestions of what to see and do and where to eat. Got to meet Lanita and she is very nice!
The property was as described, clean, quiet, and centrally located to explore the mid-coast and beyond. Lanita the property manager was very responsive and attentive, as needed. Would recommend the bungalow to anyone.
Thank you for visiting our beautiful little town of Camden, come visit us again! Updates on the property are being made so next time you visit there will be fresh paint, air conditioner and new windows!
We had the cottage for the month of Septembet. The Owner was very accommodating and responded quickly to a couple of requests we made. Quiet area. Very close to downtown. Would definitely recommend and book sgain!
