About this property

Charming Tahoe home tucked away in the woods on a quiet street in the Granlibakken neighborhood. The home is a 3 bedroom with a loft and has a grand back deck. Conveniently located close to downtown Tahoe City, Paige Meadows trail-head, cross country ski trails and is very private. This home in Granlibakken is a modern take on a classic cabin. You will enter the home from the front of the wrap-around deck into a cozy living area with a vaulted ceiling, a fireplace, and plenty of comfortable seating for all of your guests.

You will find three spacious bedrooms plus a loft for sleeping! The master suite includes a king size bed and full private bathroom. Two more bedrooms are located close by on the same level. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed with pillow top mattress, and bedroom 3 contains 2 twin beds. Another bathroom is conveniently located between these 3 rooms. Upstairs you will find the loft area that is a perfect size. The loft has plenty of privacy and comes with fun rocking style chairs, a TV, and two more Twin beds.

Out the back door you will find breathtaking views of the endless tree tops as you overlook the forest. Below the house is a neighborhood trail to Granlibakken Resort. Tahoe City is also very close about 1.2 miles, an easy walk. The trail to Paige Meadows is accessed via a path next to the driveway, adventure is right out your door! This home is perfect for hiking, biking, and exploring!

* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an usually hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults

Great Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Quaint & Peaceful

Our family had a wonderful week at Tahoe City. The house was clean and very quiet. Loved the trails outside of the house. Would stay here again. The house is very convenient to see and explore Lake Tahoe and also Truckee. We really enjoyed it.
