Cute place, close to old port! We brought our pup and she was happy as well. We would definitely stay there again!

Good location. Host was responsive when we advised coffee maker was broken. Washer was broken and we packed with the understanding that on site laundry was available. If we knew that laundry wasn’t available, we would have chosen a different property. Kitchen was poorly stocked for cooking. There was one mirror in the entire house (in the bathroom) which made it very difficult for 4 adults to get ready to go out. The 3rd bedroom did not have A/C and we were in a heatwave. The sockets were coming out of the walls upstairs and we did advise the host of that situation so he can address. We would not stay there again.
For the money we were happy with the Accommodations. The host was very helpful, a lot of towels were provided which was nice. Easy access and parking, quiet neighborhood.
Location could not have been better or easier to walk into downtown at night for dinner and drinks. Corner lot with private parking was great and plenty of seating and space for my wife, my daughter and me to be comfortable hanging out and working from here during the day. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit!
Pros:- The location was great. There were a few fantastic places to grab a bite just a short walk away. It was only about a 15 min walk to get to everything else.- The beds were very comfortable. I'm just glad I didn't know beforehand that there was no mattress or pillowcase protectors.- Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Tub drained slowly. We let the host know and they said they would address it once we left.Cons:- There was only 1 mirror and it was in the 1 very tiny bathroom. The pictures in the listing show a full length mirror in 1 of the bedrooms, but that was no longer there.- At least 1 of the bedroom doors did not fully close.- Shower curtain was just a liner and was hanging by 3 hooks. There was also no place to hang used towels either in the bathroom or the bedrooms. We used a coat tree that was in the kitchen.- In the flight path to the airport.- VERY musty/damp smell that was overpowering.- TV booted us off after 20 min. It seems a previous guest likely logged into their own YouTube TV account. Suggestions:- Tissues in the bathroom.- Small trash cans in the bedrooms.- Mirror in each bedroom. Since the walls are basically bare, there is plenty of room to hang one in each bedroom.- Take new listing pictures since the current ones show curtains (which are not there), different furniture, etc.- Small fan in bedroom at top of stairs didn't work.- Lamp for the bedside table in the room at the top of the stairs.
Old but clean and cozy home. The one bathroom situation takes some coordinating 😉 Beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great place for our Portland “home base” for our week-long Maine trip!!
Great and spacious place with all the basics you need for a comfortable stay. Location was close to downtown and within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants on Congress St. The off street parking spot was super convenient. Jason was a very responsive host.
We had an awesome time staying at Jason’s home. It was well decorated and charming. It’s really close to downtown Portland and unlike many homes it has its on dedicated driveway to park in. Jason was easy to reach and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay. It was exactly what we needed; affordable, simple/basic place, but just enough comfort. And not too much stuff for our toddler to get into :) Jason is an excellent host and was very communicative. We also liked the neighborhood. Quiet but close (walkable) to local restaurants and a short drive to down town. We would stay again.
We had a great stay at the condo, the off street parking was so helpful and the location couldn’t be beat. The street is quiet yet close to everything, the bed linens were soooo comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Check in was super easy and the guides and maps provided were super helpful. All in all it was a very smooth and joyful experience. We will definitely be booking again should we return to Portland!
The location was close to everything, the property was clean and welcoming, and the host was very courteous. No issues whatsoever and he even let us check in early when we made it into town earlier than expected, all it took was a quick message which he replied to very quickly. 100% would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
This listing was very clean. Very quiet at night. Nice to have off street parking. Check in was very easy. All the places I wanted to go to were close by and easily able to drive to. It was very nice to have a book of recommended places to visit and restaurants to eat at.
The condo was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. We are "walkers" and walked two to three times a day downtown and back - it is about a mile, but we enjoyed it! The complimentary coffee was a plus!
This is a no-frills place that made me feel like I had a more authentic Portland experience. It's an older home that is settling, so the floors are a bit uneven, and I liked that character! It had everything we needed - it was clean, walkable, came stocked with coffee, and the washer/dryer was a bonus. Jason was a very communicative host and the neighborhood was great. I'd absolutely stay here again!
The greatest perk of this rental is the location and proximity to the city. It really is walking distance. The apartment itself was very clean. If you are looking for a lot of amenities this is not your place. Its a very basic unit, but the beds were good and clean and the unit owners are very nice.
We loved our time in Portland! This property is very conveniently located and Jason was great to work with. The home is old but has all the modern necessities, including a smart tv, wifi, and comfortable beds. The only tricky thing to navigate is the downstairs bathroom. All the bedrooms are upstairs and the staircase is pretty steep. Unless there is someone with limited mobility in your group, I would recommend this property!
