This beautifully decorated single-family home in the Villas At Corolla Bay is just steps away from the beach access (and one of the closest homes to the beach access in the community). Enjoy being within walking distance of sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the sound. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, it is perfect for families and has everything you''ll need for your Outerbanks vacation. Home is equipped with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, four adult bicycles, beach caddy, and pack 'n play to make your stay enjoyable. Cook up your favorite meals in the well-equipped kitchen or on the outdoor grill and then relax after sunset with a glass of wine in the hot tub. After a day in the surf and sand, the whole family will enjoy the 6 Smart TV’s, recreation room, wireless internet, toys and games. While in Corolla, enjoy amazing coastal views from sound to sea, activities that will thrill the entire family, as well as great shopping and dining. Ground Level: Offers a luxurious Queen room with a 32” smart tv, a full bath and a rec room with a 42" flat screen internet ready TV. Just outside, in your large-sized courtyard, you can enjoy a long soak in the hot tub or a beverage by the gas fire pit (fire pit available October-April). This Corolla Bay home is located close to the Community pool and recreation options, including shuffleboard, horseshoes, sand volleyball , and a brand, new playset!

Mid Level: Here you will find a beautiful King mbr with a 40” flat screen TV & deck access, a bedroom offering another King & a 40” smart tv and a bedroom with DuoBunk w/ Trundle & a 26" flat screen tv w/ dvd that share a full bath. You’ll also find the laundry area located on this level.

Top Level: Features a designer great room with electric fireplace, 65” smart Roku tv, Blu Ray player and deck access. A new loveseat and sleeper sofa have just been added in fall of 2020! Any cooks in the group will love the well-stocked kitchen and the open layout with stainless appliances. The dining area has seating for everyone including 3 bar stools at the raised kitchen bar. Rounding out this lovely home is the half bath.

There is NO elevator at this home.

SUPPLIES TO BRING - Upon arrival, you will find a new roll of toilet paper in each bathroom as well as a roll of paper towels in the kitchen and a kitchen trash bag. These items will not be replenished during your stay and you will need to bring or buy these items and all other consumable items such as dish soap, coffee filters, toilet paper, bath soap, etc.

SUMMER TRAFFIC - to avoid bottleneck traffic as you travel north on Route 12, plan to arrive in Corolla before 10am or after 5pm on checkin day. Many guests enjoy the day exploring the southern end of the OBX in Kitty Hawk and Nags Head and then make their way to Corolla in the afternoon.

The house was great. We had 5 adults and 2 children that stayed in the house. There was plenty of room for all of us. The amenities were great and the house included everything we would need while staying plus more than we could have asked for. We enjoyed our stay and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all.

Great place to stay

This place everything you need from babies to adults!! I felt like we only need to have clothes, and food with toiletries and everything else they had!! I would stay here again. Not a terrible walk to the beach. We walked it 3 or more times a day! Wonderful place.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The home was beautiful and incredibly clean upon our arrival. Everything that you could possibly need for a stay-especially with children-was accessible to us and honestly we couldn’t believe what was available! Karen was responsive to any questions that I had prior to our arrival. She was easy to reach and thoughtful in her communication.Truly this was the most amazing home and we wish our stay never had to end.

Perfect Beach House

We had an amazing time at this house! It was a short walk to the beach and came equipped with everything we needed for our stay! Even a nugget ice maker! . The pictures and description of the rooms and house are 100% accurate! I would highly recommend this property if you are planning to visit the Outer Banks!

This house was awesome! Plenty of space for all of us , and close to everything. The back yard made it fun to hangout in our own space , and the hot tub was a nice touch! We had a great time !

Last minute family vacay

The beach house is well-appointed, with room for everyone! It is a short walk to the beach and many amenities just steps from the back door. We enjoyed our visit to Corolla and stay.

Great place to stay

Quiet place where we had privacy and close enough to grocery and other amenities to be very convenient. We had 6 people ranging from 10 - 80 years of age and all had a ball. Really like the location and will consider again when going to the outer banks.

Very cute beach house

The house was very clean and stocked with necessary items. The hot tub was very nice to have access to. The location was great. We really enjoyed having access to bikes and beach chairs. Overall very great experience and would highly recommend.

Amazing place

This is a beautiful, very well-equipped place that is a short walk to the beach, the sound, and very close to shops and restaurants. Karen was an excellent and responsive host, and the garage was stocked with all you would need for outdoor fun. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfect for family with kids!

Our experience was excellent. We were 6 adults + 4 kids (ages 1 year to 6 years). The property had everything we needed and we couldn't have asked for more in terms of providing for our kids at their ages. Karen was incredibly easy to work with. We loved that we could carry the littlest one back from the beach (it was that close!) and that the pool was accessible to all.

Family Vacation 2023

Overall we were quite happy with the house. It is conveniently located near the 4x4 beach access ( only a few minute ride)and a very short walk to the public beach access. It Had all the cooking essentials we needed, the extra fridge in the garage was a bonus and convenient. We would consider staying here again.

Wonderful stay

Everything about this property and rental experience was wonderful. Communication with Karen was a breeze, and the property was just as described. Everything was super clean and the kitchen and garage (will all the beach supplies you need) were well-appointed. The location is ideal - short walk to the beach on a nice boardwalk. I would 100% stay here again. One thing to be aware of is that the wifi was not quite up to video calls (but hopefully you’ll be there to enjoy vacation, rather than take work calls). Highly recommend!

Great owners and great for families

The property owner was wonderful and very responsive !! The house had plenty of amenities especially for small children (Baby gates, bicycles, high chairs, beach chairs). It’s just a short five minute walk to the beach And we loved the hot tub! It was also really nice that there were a volleyball courts, shuffleboard court and a pool right outside ! Thanks for a great stay!

Great Spot in Corolla

Our first time in the OBX. House as described and Karen was super responsive. One item to note, the beach is five minutes away, but you need to go over a sandy hill or steps to get there. Was a little challenging to maneuver with a wagon but all neighboring access points were similar. Would recommend!

WOW!!!

Spotless, has everything, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, the hot tube got a lot of action and the house is close to everything in Corolla. Could not have asked for better.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway!

We were welcomed with coastal Christmas decor and an abundance of a fully equipped and immaculate home. Karen was available for any needs we had. This home has everything you could need or want. The hot tub was a great winter addition. The bikes make easy access to beach or sunsets on the sound. The area of Corolla is very nice with much to do and an easy day trip if you wish to other OBX sites. Beds are comfortable and sand an easy 2 blocks away.

Terrific home for the holidays and owner is the best!

We stayed in Karen's home for the 2017 thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautiful, well stocked with everything we needed, so spacious, comfortable and a stones throw from the ocean. Karen was so wonderful to work with always responding quickly and even provided suggestions for the area. She told us where to get a turkey and even had a turkey roaster! We also had a family emergency while on vacation (nothing at the house :) ) and Karen went above and beyond for my family. We will always be eternally grateful for her kindness! You wont be disappointed with this property!

Christmas relaxation

This house had everything we needed to make our Christmas away from home wonderful. There were two Christmas trees and stockings hanging from the mantle. We had good weather so we took a walk down to the beach and collected seashells. The kids loved the the fire pit for roasting marshmallows, while I enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. Grocery store had what we needed and although most places are closed here this time of year we were able to find takeout food. Overall great 1st experience in OBX and with these owners, who were attentive to all questions.

Christmas getaway

Thank you, Karen for an amazing stay! Our family of 4 needed a quick getaway - Karen's home in Corolla was just what the doctor ordered! The decor in her home is beautiful, comfortable and we thoroughly appreciated her attention to detail - every beach accessory was provided in her garage and her kitchen is well stocked (although we did not cook much). The beach is short and pleasant walk down what looks like a brand new, well maintained boardwalk. We enjoyed the bikes she provided in her garage and the hot tub was clean and ready to go when we checked in. We also had a mishap when checking out - I forgot my purse in the house and the door code had expired. I left a voicemail and Karen returned my call within 5 minutes; much appreciated and my family was thankful we didn't have to wait long after we'd packed up to head home. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We can't wait to go back to your oasis...

A Must-Rent Property

We loved staying at Karen’s home! She was amazing! The day we arrived, there was a mix up with the property manager and the cleaning crew, so the home wasn’t ready when expected (they had told us we could do an early check in). Karen swooped right in and let us unload into the garage early so our groceries wouldn’t spoil! We were so thankful! After that the entire trip was incredibly smooth. The location of the house was great and the kids enjoyed the community pool. The community itself is very small so the pool was never crowded! Our group used the shuffleboard and horseshoe pits as well. The hot tub was enormous and clean! The garage is full of extras - no need to bring a lot of the bulky things with you, because Karen supplies them. The beach is a short walk away and there is a path. There’s a lifeguard on duty right there. We went out at night and saw a million crabs scuttling in and out of crab holes - my kids were thrilled! Overall a wonderful trip and a very gracious host. We’re glad we stayed with Karen and plan to do so again in the future.
