Living spaces

Spread across three levels, the layout balances openness with quiet corners. The main floor living and dining area centers around the indoor fireplace, with mountain views extending beyond the wrap-around deck. Upstairs, an open loft creates a comfortable sitting area with a TV. The lower-level media room adds another gathering space with foosball, a wet bar, and a TV. A mudroom helps organize winter gear, and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer supports longer stays.

Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for shared meals, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and ample space to cook. A dining table seats eight, while the breakfast bar provides additional seating. A BBQ grill is available for year-round use, and the dining area makes it easy to linger over dinner after a day outdoors.

Outdoor living

Even in the colder months, the private backyard invites relaxation. Soak in the hot tub as snowflakes drift down, or step onto the sundeck to take in the alpine air. The property also includes a patio or balcony, outdoor furniture, and a private entrance for added convenience.

Central air conditioning, heating, and portable fans ensure comfort in every season. Guests have access to Wifi and a dedicated workspace, along with bathroom essentials, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, clothing storage, and an in-home safe. Beautiful spotless spacious home. Excellent jacuzzi and game room. The only negative is that you need a car to get to the slopes. Would definitely use Whistler Platinum again. They were attentive and everything was as advertised.

Best spot for a family stay

We've stayed in many, many, many different chalets, condos, hotel rooms and other Whistler accoms over the years and can honestly say this was one of the best. Four kids 12 and under and four adults fit perfectly although there was some intense coin flipping over which parents got the master bedroom... More than enough room for kids to be kids and adults to enjoy some peace. Hot tubbing, Xbox, foosball and TVs on three floors was a great setup. As long as you have a (rental) car you are good as there was a 5min drive to and from the hill each day. My only suggestion is they should stock some sugar as that was a pain to track down in sizing under a kilo! We will be back next year.

Excellent, clean, quiet house and great management company

We were 100% satisfied with this property. It was very clean, well furnished, check-in was easy, and communication with Whistler Platinum was great. Before booking I had concerns about older reviews, but I called the mgmt company and was assured that all old issues had been addressed, so I booked the Meadow Green Chalet for a full week. When we arrived the house was immaculately clean and seemed to have been recently renovated, but I don't know that for sure. It's quiet and secluded. Most of us slept very well but two people felt the mattresses were a bit firm. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware. The hot tub worked very well. We noticed a toilet handle had broken off and I immediately emailed mgmt. Within hours it was fixed while we were out skiing. Google Maps routing is slightly incorrect to the address of the property so when driving in make sure to look for the number address of the house. We only had a single small annoyance. A maintenance person came out late one afternoon to service the hot tub and refilled it with a lot of water. When we returned from skiing we discovered the temperature was down to 94F, and too cold for us to enjoy. We suggest hot tub maintenance only be scheduled in-between guests or early in the mornings so that the tub has time to reheat. Suggestions: - Provide non-bath towels for use w/ the hot tub - Provide more toilet paper for longer stays & paper towels - Provide more washcloths for showers - Add twin beds in the loft

Perfect home away from home

We had a wonderful time and loved this location. Close to all amenities and Whistler Village but away enough to be quiet and relaxing. Beautiful secluded wooded lot close to walking trails and beautiful Green Lake. Spacious, fully accessorized kitchen with high end appliances made meal prep and spending time a lot of fun. From board games to video games and a secluded hot tub meant something for everyone. And love the heated floors in every bathroom! Booking with Vrbo was very easy and we heard from the Whistler Platinum right away with check ins throughout our stay. Great team! We will use this combo again! Thank you all.

All we wanted and more!

Beautiful location set in the large trees and close to walking trails around beautiful Green Lake. Felt secluded and quiet but close enough to groceries, liquor store and Whistler Village with all it has to offer. The spacious, fully accessorize kitchen with top quality appliances, was a wonderful place to spend time and prepare meals. Form board games to video games and a secluded hot tub there was something for everyone. And fluffy robes and heated floors in every washroom … heaven! We felt very relaxed and at home during our stay. All Whistler Platinum staff were very attentive and ready to help with anything we might need taken care of and quick with check in/out instructions. We will use their services again for our next visit. Thank you to everyone!

Poor experience, Dark and Low-Quality Rental

This rental experience was very poor for myself and my family. I was very disappointed with the quality and layout of this unit. It was not reflective of my prior experience with this company. I would highly recommend reconsidering this rental and choosing an alternative company. Specifically, my experience began with a newly introduced facial scan to verify my identity (despite the fact that I am a repeat customer). The experience is weird and uncomfortable. It\'s odd to have a program scan your face as you aren\'t really sure where the images go or who has access. When we arrived at the unit we were immediately disappointed. In fact, I called the after hours help line to determine if we could simply cancel the booking Unfortunately, only the emergency manager is available and they provide support for things like broken pipes/ leaks etc. He was unable to comment on the poor quality of the rental. The unit appears quite bright and open in the photos. There are heavy blinds that block most of the light. Even when these are open, the large trees cast a shadow which makes the place quite dark. The layout is structured so that you enter into the basement level. As a result, you have to carry supplies up a flight of stairs to enter the home. Additionally, there are two bedrooms on the main floor. Our children are young and thus they need to sleep quite close to us. As a result, we had to put our infant\'s crib into the small master bedroom. The basement is cold, dank and dark. There is an old cluttered couch and a foosball table. The bedrooms on the lower level are not functional for young children. The furnishings are very low quality and this did not seem apparent in the photographs. For example, the main living room couch is a fold-out that is quite old. It is very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. The remainder of the furnishings would be compatible with a 3-star hotel. The hot tub thermostat appears to be malfunctioning as the temperature was scalding. I adjusted this and left the top off for a few hours, but the temperature didn\'t really drop to a useable level. I reviewed these issues with the property manager and had limited response. Although she responded to my initial email, the reconciliation offer that was suggested was no different to the standard discount offered to repeat customers. I sent a second email to discuss the poor experience and received no response at all. I\'m not much of a complainer. In fact, I have rented with this company several times in the past without incident. When I go away for the weekend, the absolute last thing that I want to do is spend time providing company feedback. This experience was not great and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. The entire experience from booking to check-out was enough for me to ensure that I will not work with Whistler Platinum again.

Poor experience, dark, awful layout and very disappointing

Renting this property was an absolute disappointment. I have rented with Whistler Platinum previously and expected a standard comparable with other properties. This is a very poorly designed and dark unit with an awful layout. The furnishings are very low-end and reflective of what may be expected from a 3 star hotel. The layout is awkward and the rooms are scattered through the home. The entrance is actually into the basement level and thus you have to carry your supplies up a flight of stairs. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor. We have young children that need to sleep close to their mom and thus we had to put a crib into the small master closet. The balcony is small and has a view of trees. The kitchen is stocked, but with cheap utensils, cutlery and pans. The unit is dark most of the time and has heavy blinds that block most of the light that is present. I'm a fan of hot tubs, but the hot tub in this unit was actually dangerously hot. The thermostat was set at the max range, but I suspect it may actually be broken because it was scalding. I was so disappointed that I actually contacted the property manager at check in to determine if we could simply cancel our booking on arrival and get a hotel. Unfortunately, they were not available until the next day. The advice that I received at that point was 'it's probably too late to do anything and we will see what we can do in terms of compensation'. I later received an email that suggested I could receive a 10% discount. I note that the property manager typically offers 10% for repeat customers so it is puzzling to receive this offer. When I inquired about this, I received no further email response at all. Ultimately, I refused the offer and accepted the dingy, dark and overpriced unit as I was only staying for the weekend. I suggested that I would not book in future with Whistler Platinum and I would certainly not book this overpriced dark cabin again. If you are looking for a unit of this quality, you would be better suited at finding a cheaper place elsewhere. The pricing is set by the square footage rather than the quality of the cabin. Unfortunately, most of the space is not useable. You are highly likely to regret this investment. Sincerely,
