Thank you so much for the wonderful review Michael! So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in Northern Lights #29. We would be happy to welcome you back anytime.
Everything went very smoothly. We were in the spring so not much snow on the hill going open and down to the cabin, not sure how much of an obstacle that would be but something for a family to think about. Otherwise you could tell the owner uses the cabin since they had everything you could possibly need and there was virtually no wear and tear. Clear signage and well thought through. Thank you, we will be back!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review Griffin! We’re really glad to hear everything went smoothly and that you found the home well stocked and thoughtfully set up!
You’re absolutely right that spring conditions can vary, and we appreciate you pointing that out for future guests, especially families considering ski access later in the season.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would love to welcome you back anytime!
The property was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The hot tub was very clean and was a nice addition to our stay. We used it every day. The Aloha team was very thorough, excellent communication and the information pre, during a post stay was very straight forward and detailed. The beds were very comfortable. You could not hear others walking around. The addition of the heated boot/glove warmer was very much used and appreciated. I feel like they truly thought through the guest experience with the way the unit is set up. I would highly recommend and I would stay here again.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review Jessica! So happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in Norther Lights #29, and the neighbors!
We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Great early season stay! The place is very comfortable. We had 9 with us and everyone had a bed. The hot tub is very nice comfortably holding 5-6 at a time. Parking was convenient with 1 car in the garage and 2 in the driveway and extra guest parking a few steps away. Early season is challenging getting to the slopes walking. There was no snow at the base. Walking down and up in ski boots would be challenging. We drove to Creekside and parked in the garage which worked well (free) The kitchen is pretty well stocked but needs a cork screw/wine opener. Cooking oil would also be nice. We brought cooking spray and left it in the kitchen. There was a sauna but it was unavailable/locked, it would have been a nice option to use but the hot tub felt great after a long day of skiing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review, Jonathan! We’re so happy to hear you had a great early-season stay.
Thank you as well for letting us know there was no corkscrew or wine opener in the home — definitely a necessity! We’ll be adding one right away.
The sauna is currently kept locked for owner use only, but we’re glad the hot tub offered a relaxing alternative after skiing. Early-season conditions can definitely make access a bit tricky, so we’re happy to hear Creekside parking worked well for your group.
We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again later in the season when the snow is plentiful! If there’s anything we can do to make your next stay even better, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
The listing was accurately advertised, well equipped and well managed. I’d stay again at this location.

A great place for our family of 6!! There was plenty of space for all (kids ages 13, 17, 18 and 21). Loved the hot tub. Whistler village was walkable. Quiet neighbourhood. House was immaculate on our arrival. Overall a great stay.

We came to Whistler for the biking and we’re so excited when we saw how close this was to the base of the mountain. We had 7 people in our group (4 adults 3 teenagers) and it had plenty of space. Very clean and beautiful inside. Would stay here again.

Annual Snowboarding Trip - Bucket list destination!
Our annual snowboard trip this year took us to Whistler, a place that’s been on our bucket list for a long time. After researching accommodations, we found this townhouse, and it was everything we were looking for—and more! It exceeded our expectations in every way.The location is perfect, just a short distance from the village and slopes, which made access so easy for us. Whether you’re traveling with family or a group of friends, this townhouse is a great choice for a stay near all the action. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Whistler to the fullest!
Really nice house, well maintained and clean. Check in really easy and fast. Very good service from Aloha Whistler. I will surely recommend this property and Aloha Whistler to my friends and family.

Beautiful house with a 2 car garage and plenty of space for a large family or group. Property is in excellent condition with a complete kitchen. Private hot tub is a plus and it's very secluded from village life, but still relatively close. The walk back is up a steep hill, but it's close enough.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. The well stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the separate bedrooms provided privacy for everyone. The attention to detail with the nice linens added a touch of luxury to our experience. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway! Some review said that the neighbors are noisy, this was not our experience at all. Maybe time of year can be a factor.

A beautiful vacation home! Lots of space. A bit farther than I thought to the village. Mainly drive. Wished it was more walkable but other than that is a great spot!!
We loved our stay here. Communication with the host was outstanding. We would happily stay here again. Approximately 10 minutes walk to Whistler gondola and village. Perfect for us. The outdoor hot tub right next to the lounge room was a standout. Great for adults and easy to keep an eye on the kids when they were in there. We would recommend this property highly for those that don’t mind a short walk to the village

This property was exactly as described and was the perfect location for a friend's ski weekend. As other reviews have mentioned, it's a challenging walk up some stairs to get to the slopes (especially in ski boots), but once you're up the hill, you can drop right into the village.
We had a small problem with a water leak and I was impressed with how efficiently it was addressed.
I look forward to booking this property in the future.

Super close to the village, yet tucked out of the way so very quiet and private. If you’re skiing, be ready for a bit of a hike to get to the ‘ski out’ - good warm up as you’re certainly dealing with an elevated hear rate by the time you strap in. Have stayed in four or five townhomes in Northern Lights - this is a bit on the smaller side, but it was perfect for what we needed/wanted and it has the bonus of being able to squeeze a couple of cars on the driveway which not all units in Northern Lights can do.

Up a steep hill outside the main village (bring your walking shoes). Lots of construction on all sides of the Condo's with little privacy despite the construction. A few items within the property did not work/ have access to. No sauna access. A few of the lights and vent vans in the bathroom did not work. Bidets in every toilet but only one controller. No air conditioning so be aware of the local temperature forecasts. Lots of cameras so it felt pretty invasive. Condo neighbors were always audible so be ready for that. The garage could not fit our bikes on the rack so had to be removed.

Hi Kasey,
Thanks for you taking the time to leave a review, we do appreciate all feedback!
Sorry to hear you felt like there was little privacy at this home and the neighbours were audible. This is the first time we have heard this comment. Typically guests mention how quiet and private it is, especially with all windows located on the back side of the home. Please note, the video cameras are deactivated.
Unfortunately, the sauna is owner use only. We do not advertise a sauna on the listing nor do we advertise there is AC. We do ensure there are fans in all rooms.
We do wish you mentioned that there were lights out and if any vent fans were not working. We would have happily came over to change any light bulbs and had a look at the fans for you.
The garage is a standard size double car garage. You will need to take your bikes off your car but there is plenty of space to store in the garage.
We do hope you enjoyed your time in Whistler.
This property was everything it was advertised to be and then some!If you’re like me, I’ll answer the question I went looking for first: the ski in/out is about half a block walk to 114 stairs and an additional 30-ish yards on a slight incline to reach the slopes and clip into bindings. It looked daunting, but wasn’t too bad at all. We had a driver who could have dropped us at the gondola, but we walked up all four days, sometimes twice a day. The condo itself was amazing. SO CLEAN! The kitchen was very well appointed (there was even an Instapot) and we made all but one meal in house. The bedrooms were decently sized. The bed in the master was a bit firm for my liking (I sleep on a soft tempurpedic at home) but we still slept well enough. The top floor room was perfect for morning stretches and warm ups before skiing. The hot tub was clean and hot after skiing. The garage parked our Wagoneer perfectly. The parking mat to keep snow contained was so nice. The ski storage nice and the boot dryer was a treat to have at our disposal. The location was close enough to the village that the kids (16 and 20) walked in to shop and get coffee when they didn’t ski. They also walked back to the house in the evening after dinner because they wanted to stay for dessert. The property management team was highly responsive to questions or requests before and during our stay. Overall this might be our favorite stay of all our destination skiing so far.

Terrific location and great amenities and accommodation for multiple friends
I have rented several different accommodations and in multiple locations at Whistler Blackcomb over the years. This townhouse was very good from the perspective of the layout, the common area space and the overall amenities. The garage with integrated ski storage and boot/glove drying room was a very good option to have and it was used daily. The hottub on the deck was a necessity to have. Unfortunately, the hottub would not stay heated and it took two engineers googling the user manual in order to keep the tub in an operating mode to enable the heater to stay on. After figuring this out, it was fine for remainder of the trip. The only other negative is that this property is not a true “ski-in / ski-out”. There is a neighborhood access to the slopes of Whistler that require hiking up a staircase of about 125 stairs and a further hiking trail about 300 meters long to get to the slope. This was quite inconvenient compared to other slopeside accomodation I have rented in Whistler. The hike up and down to the village from the house was also long enough that we often had to drive down to the village for dinners out.
Overall, the space and the layout of the unit was very good for our group, and we made due with the negatives.
The management company was exceptional and everything was ready and available upon arrival. Their communication was excellent and Aloha provides you with contact information if you have problems and are extremely helpful. I would rate the management company a “10”. Overall a great rental experience.

Happy to hear you had a great stay and experience with us at Aloha, it was a pleasure hosting you and your group.
The ski in/out access from the Northern Lights complex is definitely not "true ski in/out" which we do make sure all guests are aware of this prior to booking and have it listed in the home description.
Apologies about the hot tub, we were not aware of this issue. I have just reached out to the hot tub company to confirm all is ok with the hot tub and they've confirmed it was just in sleep mode, which they changed back to economy mode. Happy this was not a further issue for you.
Do let us know next time you are in Whistler Derek, we would be happy to host you again!
Check in was very flexible - thank you Aloha Rentals. House is very well equipped. Beds are comfortable. 10 minute walk down to town. All good except it is advertised as a ski in/ski out in the rental headlines. It is NOT. Not even close to being accurate. After walking about 50 meters, you have to walk up 100 stairs and then walk another 100 yard up a relatively steep slope to access the mountain. The reverse coming home. Paid premium for in/out and yet falsely advertised. A little sketchy. Get past the sketchy non truth headline, the house is great.

Thank you for the kind words regarding our service and the home's amenities; we’re glad you found the beds comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. We appreciate your feedback regarding the 'Ski In/Ski Out Access' and apologize for any confusion.
We categorize the home as "Ski Access" because of its proximity to the trails, which is noted in our description to ensure guests are aware: "Ski-In/Ski-Out accessed via a staircase (approx. 100 steps) from the complex, followed by a short hill leading onto Whistler Mountain." We appreciate you pointing this out, we will look into making this access even more clear in our listing to ensure future guests can plan accordingly.
