Downtown Gem 💎 -102- Walk to Coffee ☕️ & Anakeesta

Walk to everything Gatinburg has to offer! Park, check-in, and put your keys down (no need to drive anywhere). This comfortable, upgraded, cabin-decorated condo sits at the BEST location in town, just minutes walking distance from downtown. It is a 1bed (Queen)/1bath & 1Sleeper Sofa (Queen) unit. It has a 49in cable tv, nice comfy recliners, fireplace, WIFI and a full kitchen.The complex also has a seasonal pool and hot tub (normally closed until late May). Note that our cleaning company follows strict CDC and AHCA cleaning protocols.

The space:

This condo has been renovated with new flooring, paint, dĂŠcor, and comforts of home. It is on the 1st floor of the condo building. There are 2 queen beds available (1 is a sleeper sofa - extra pillows and blankets are available in bedroom closet). The condo involves self check-in with a door keypad; I will provide the key code after reservations are finalized.

The location was nice. It's just a quick 3 block walk to the main strip. The condo needs a good cleaning. We didn't use the kitchenette. It could use brighter light bulbs throughout as it was way to dark.

The location was very convenient to the strip. I loved that it was an easy walk. The pictures of the property were a little deceiving but that really didn't bother me. It was the cleanliness. There were stains and hair on the bedding. The pull out couch mattress was so thin that you felt every spring. The host did change the linens and provide a mattress pad. It was not up to par with the other listings I have stayed at with VRBO.

Great location!

We stayed at Ethan's place for a quick family getaway. The location was perfect - easily within walking distance to Anakeetsa, the Village, the Aquarium, and downtown Gatlinburg's main street. It was great to be able to walk from the apartment to nearly everything. You will need to get a parking pass to park in the lot - the lady in the front lobby brought one out to us when we parked, even though the instructions didn't mention anything about it.

Convenient and Comfortable

The location was perfect for walking up and down the Gatlinburg strip without paying for parking. It was far enough from the road though so you didn’t hear the bustling city when you didn’t want to. Perfect place for two. The heating/AC worked great, so we were always comfortable. The couch could be more comfortable, but we didn’t use it as a sleeper sofa so I don’t know how it would be to sleep on. The recliners were very comfortable so we mostly used those when sitting. Would definitely recommend!

Stay at The Heart of Gatlinburg

Property was great and clean, but bed was very, very uncomfortable because it was old, I wish owner considered to replace it to a new mattress! I surety couldn’t sleep on it for four nights of my stay, and I slept on the couch.Also utensils was limited, I mean there was no forks at all & only one tablespoons along with two knives .

When we first walked in everything looked great. It was well put together and decorated nicely. Upon further inspection, the place was dirty. Dirt on bathroom walls and door, dust bunnies on all of the ceilings. Dust all over the top of the refrigerator. Noticed first thing going into the bedroom that the dresser drawer broken. Thankful that I brought Lysol wipes, decided I was going to wipe down the kitchen table and before I even got halfway done, the Lysol wipe was turning brown from all the dirt on the table. Later on in the evening I went to get into the shower and noticed on the ceiling that there was mold on the ceiling. Upon further inspection, I found MOLD under the sink in the bathroom. I informed the host of finding it and included pictures, but as what has seemed like common occurrence since booking the unit, no one replied. I messaged 4-5 times since booking this unit not once was a messaged replied to. Only thing I had received was what seemed like automated messages that they had set to go out at certain times, none of which answered any questions I had or had any relevance of what I asked. Just information about the unit like unit number, WiFi name and password, where to park etc.. I even received within one of those messages, a number that I could contact of another person, so I texted them and never received a response back either. So unless you don’t care about cleanliness and don’t have any questions and just need a quick place to stay, I DO NOT recommend

Good Space

Good space, well taken care of, I would Double Check about the check out time before I rented. In Gatlinburg in the summer, they want you out! They were vacuuming outside the window at 8:45am and by 10, the housekeeper just came on in, Followed by an "are you leaving? from the owner at 10:15, I wasn't surprised because I grew up here and know how the rules of Gatlinburg can be challenging. But if My Children were with me, and I was packing up and trying to wrangle them, this stuff would have really exhausted me. Nice people, though.

Last minute trip

Check in and check out were very simple. Liked that the property has a keypad, no hassle of a keycard. I received multiple communications from the host yet all my messages sent never received any reply. It appears this is all auto generated so if you have no questions or concerns this would work fine. I specifically asked about the pool and hot tub and if they were open. There was no response. Hot tub is broken. Area is dirty with partial water at the bottom of it. Pool was open. Could use a cleaning. Our unit has plumbing issues. The shower, toilet, and sink all drained and flushed extremely slow. We had to space out showers so the tub would not overflow. I alerted them of this with no responses. Bedroom light and dresser were broken. Overall cleanliness was fair at best. I would not return but I did wait till last minute ti book and sometimes you get what you can in a bind

Very shabby and poorly maintained property. Damages visible on most furniture, tears in fabric, gouges on walls. The bed was not queen size as it was advertised. The sliding glass door to the balcony did not stay in the track and could easily have fallen out. The was a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod when we arrived. We found dead bugs under living room furniture so we had to assume the apartment had not been properly cleaned. Before our arrival we asked the host one question about distances to a venue and he did not answer.

Cute property and everything with very smooth with check it! Only about an 8 min walk to all the attractions so you’re not having to pay the 20 parking fee! If people are outside or for the early trash pick up, it is a little noisy other than that we enjoyed ourselves!

Accessibility is the biggest plus!!! 1st floor and an easy walk to The Village. The unit could use a deep clean and some upgrades. But if you are looking for a safe place to sleep and shower between outings and enjoying the area, this is a nice choice.

Fast honeymoon stop on way home

This is a cozy little condo. All the necessities of home. It is right off the strip and you can walk to everything. Owner even let us check out an hour later. Only twist is the sliding door needs a little tic. Wish we had gotten to stay more than one night. Recommend 100%

Super location!

We visited during Thanksgiving, a very busy time for Gatlinburg. Being walking distance to the shops and activities was key! The condo is well-decorated, and the fold-out couch has an extra pad on it and was very comfortable. I contacted Ethan with a question about the gas fireplace when I arrived and he answered immediately. (And he was very kind in his answer...especially considering I realized later in our stay that the answer to my question was in the condo binder!) I highly recommend this unit!

Great location Close, walking distance to just about everything in Gatlinburg

I thought it was nice We did have a few issues When we got there we heard water dripping The faucet in the tub was dripping we tried to get it to stop by moving handle but wouldn’t It got bad at times, tub started filling up The lights in the fan in bathroom didn’t work And the clock wasn’t working Just a few simple things except the tub but over all it was nice
