Really enjoyed this unique property. Several small touches such as water, soda and coffee readily available were fantastic features. Room was comfortable and clean. Can’t wait to return.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! Your words, "Can't wait to return" says it all!
This home has a great location with a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and river front in Apalachicola. It is centrally located- not too far to the beautiful beaches of Cape San Blas and St. George Island.
The common area has beautiful old architecture and wood work. We enjoyed the apartment because you have the convenience of your own kitchen area, but still have the feel of a bed and breakfast.
We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Nice studio apartment in an historic and beautifully restored home. Wonderful history in the beautiful city of Apalachicola, Florida. Nice amenities included complimentary breakfast items and snacks in the community kitchen, lovely wrap around porch with breezy seating options to beat the heat of the day, and friendly owners ready to help with anything and answer any questions.
First time staying at the Majestic Jewel and won't be our last. June and Greg are excellent hosts and and such sweet people. They made us feel right at home. The Liberty Studio Suite is a nod to all things patriotic and a wonderful 2 room suite equipped with a kitchen. While we didn't take advantage of those amenities, they were top notch.
The story of how the Jewel came to be is so intriguing. I won't spoil it here. You'll just have to stay yourself to find out the story. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Historic Home In Walking Distance to Downtown Apalachicola
Beautiful historic home 2 blocks from downtown Apalachicola. The Liberty Studio apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything we could want or need. Wonderful stay and we would highly recommend the Majestic Pearl and the Liberty Studio.
Anniversary Stay at the Majestic Jewel in Apalachicola, FL
Beautiful mansion and beautifully decorated. The hosts June and Greg, make you feel at home and are very welcoming. Great fishing town. Make sure you make plans to so something out of town or hiking, fishing, etc because there is absolutely nothing to do in town. All the shops are closed on Sundays, and even some restaurants. We went for a Sunday drive along the coast.

Hi Linda,
I wish I had known you were seeking an activity for Sunday! The shops in this little town do close on Sundays so I usually suggest to our guests to save the exploring of Apalachicola for Sunday. There is soooo much history and beauty here! The self guided walking tour (which the Majestic Jewel is on), Woodys Boardwalk Walk thru the woods and over the marsh, (near the old shrimp boat marina), Chestnut Cemetery that dates back to the Civil War, block after block of extraordinary homes, several beautiful parks, the river wharf & the fishing pier....10 minutes across the bridge is beautiful St George Island. Anyway, you have given me a great idea. I will share these things in the guest manual as well as points of interest in the small towns near us. Carrabelle and Port St Joe are cute little seaside towns within 20 minutes of us.
Hopefully you will visit again!

Everything I needed and was able to relax and enjoy Apalachicola, close to everything.
I would recommend a hot soak in the tub with Rose’s botanical bath bombs in town. Kitchen was well equipped. Cozy
Excellent accommodations, location. and activities.
Sea Food Festival this weekend, Tons of friendly folks, Great Food and unique shopping. all within walking distance. Very comfortable and cozy environment to relax and recharge. We will be back to stay.
The Majestic Jewel is such a lovely home. The studio apartment filled every need. The extra touches by June were just frosting on the cake. Snacks, drinks, extras in the lobby. The location was great for walking in town, and convenient for day trips to Wakulla Springs, St George Island, Panacea marine center, NERR. We loved every minute of our stay. (4 nights)
