"Old Florida" Seaside Cottage located in the small seaside town of Floridana Beach. The beach is a turtle nesting habitat between May 1st and October 31st. Watch the giant turtles emerge from the sea and nest right on your beach dune. Sit in your private cabana overseeing the Atlantic Ocean and watch for dolphins, tarpons, manatees, and other wildlife swim by. Watch rocket launches from Cape Canaveral a few miles North. Short drive from Disney World and other Central Florida attractions.

Beautiful Oasis on the Beach

The owners have everything you need there. Towels, soap, shampoo, TP, cooking utensils ...and more! The bedrooms are huge and the views are breathtaking. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Great location

The whole experience was wonderful. Check-in was easy and Cindy made herself available to help us if we needed anything. The house is in a beautiful location with the beach just a few steps away. My family and I had a great time. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Home

The home and owners were wonderful. The house was clean with all kitchen appliances and towels we needed. We loved the tiki hut that provided a beautiful view of the ocean from the shade. Lots of outdoor seating and a nice private outside shower for after swimming. Thank you for sharing your piece of the beautiful beach!

A true snowbirding getaway

“Old Florida” was truly an experience that my partner, Donna, and I will never forget. The cottage was cozy, clean, well appointed and well kept. Cindy and Juan were very caring hosts and checked in with us from time to time to make sure everything was going well. Walks through the backyard to the ocean every morning were special, and we enjoyed sitting under our own cabana and relaxing on the beach while fishing. So many great new places to eat as well as state parks and wildlife refuges to visit. The pounding of the surf each night helped put us to sleep.

Beach House

This is the second time my family and I stay at this house. It’s clean and in a beautiful location right on the beach with beautiful views.We had an issue on the first day but Cindy and her husband were quick to respond and worked immediately on getting it resolved. They even reached out to us to make sure all was going well after, which I appreciate. Definitely recommend staying here for your beach vacation, nothing beats those ocean views!

Beautiful Relaxing Beachfront!

It was wonderful to have a short walk to the beach! You could take your chair (provided by host) to the beach, enjoy the view from the shade of the cabana, sit in 1 of 3 different spots in the backyard & listen to the waves, or sit in the dining room playing a game of cards (we left a well-loved deck of Skip-Bo for you) with the door open so you can get a glimpse of the ocean & listen to the waves. You can’t go wrong with any choice! The home, furniture & beds are comfortable with full kitchen complete with a dishwasher, a laundry room & even a place outdoors to hang wet beach towels. Cindy made communication easy & was very welcoming - well before our expected arrival, during our stay & after we checked out. Our stay was in mid-February, so traffic was minimal - both for dining/shopping in Melbourne & further away…and the public access next door, which the privacy fence prevents peeking into your piece of paradise. We met a family during our time at the beach that actually stayed a month in this exact home…and they decided to move to the area & purchased a home in the neighborhood across the street just so they can access the beach here. They came twice during our stay to fish for their dinner while their children played in the surf & sand.

Ahhh, the ocean steps away!

This is a great three-bedroom Beachhouse, cozy and comfortable, clean and well-kept, with attentive owners. We had a water issue on the first night that was resolved very quickly with great communication, despite it being Thanksgiving week. Our family loved walking right out the back door onto the beach. As an aside, we went up north at sunset one day for kayaking near Kennedy space Center, and really enjoyed the bio luminescent comb jellyfish.

The kitchen table was a little sticky and we cleaned it and the cloth was pretty dirty

Surprising. The kitchen table as well as the entire house is always throughly cleaned by a professional cleaning service after each stay. An independent property manager checks the house prior to each occupancy for cleanliness and readiness.
