Overall, a nice enough space with a good location for access to Wategos and Main Beach both, and an easy walk or drive into the center of town. We were a bit bummed that the carpet hadn't been cleaned (quite clearly) and that there wasn't much in the way of supplies, toilet paper for example, no cooking oil, or beach towels, but I suppose that's optional to provide, though we did think we were paying a premium for a luxe space. Lastly, was really really really hot in the apartment when we arrived, which meant our infant couldn't sleep indoors until it cooled down - and was disappointing given that they told us early check in was unavailable.

Thank you Clay for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback. We worked hard to ensure our guests comfort and satisfaction. The owners of the property are aware the carpets are due for replacement as they are fraying in high traffic areas, but definitely are clean. The pantry cupboard is stocked with essential supplies including olive oil, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, sugar. We supply 2 x extra toilet rolls per toilet. Suppling beach towels is something we have considered but extra cost does blow the budget considerably. The new AC system was installed last summer in all bedrooms. This is very effective in cooling the property. The cool air then falls into the ground floor living area. Our aim is to provide a family friendly, mid scale property. We apologise if we fell short of your expectations. and hope to welcome you back to beautiful Byron Bay again one day. Sarah and Deb xx
