Great Property!!
From the booking to checkout, we had a great experience. The owner, Molly, and property manager, Hunter, were all very friendly during communications. The house was well furnished and sits on beautiful property. The views are great. We would highly recommend to anyone who is staying in the Maggie Valley area to consider this property.

Just…WOW!
From the moment we booked this property, to the time we checked-out, we were beyond impressed! The reservation process and communication with Molly and Mike was easy and seamless, and the 1 question we did have during our stay was answered within literal seconds. Their awesome grounds keeper/host Hunter met us and made sure we made it comfortably up the hill and into the AMAZING house. While the winter months might be challenging accessing the location without AWD (which we have), it was a fun adventure getting to our destination. Once Hunter made sure we had everything we needed, he left us in a mountain paradise - there is no detail or thought left out of the layout, design, accents, or structure of any room/space. While we were enjoying catching up with adult family members and a new baby around the spacious inside, it’s the outside space and views that are most breath-taking! Definitely worth the early mornings for sunrise, even for this NON-morning person. 3 adult couples and a baby had more than enough room and privacy when wanted. We cooked, we grilled, we drank, we had bonfires and too many s’mores - downtime with games and movies was a nice break as well. Tons of kitchen needs/wants, backup supplies for EVERYTHING, including spare batteries for anything that needs them - super impressive. And location!! Perfectly settled on a quiet mountain, with easy access to all surrounding attractions in and around the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Take us back!

Beautiful cabin and great location!
This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Spirit of the Woods, but first time here with my husband and two boys. My family enjoyed the cabin as much as I do. The cabin is immaculate, and the owner and caretaker ensure you have everything you need and are available if you have any questions. The cabin is in a great location; close to grocery stores, hiking trails, and all that WNC has to offer. It rained heavily throughout our week there, but we made the best of it, and found fun things to do locally in Maggie Valley. We will definitely be booking here again!

Wonderful cabin for families
Our family stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time! It was perfectly set up for a large-ish family group. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have their own areas. We loved the fire pit, the amazing views, and the charming decor. This beautiful house fit our families needs perfectly, and I’m so glad we got a chance to spend time in this beautiful home.
