Blue Jay Beach Resort

**NO WATER DURING THE WINTER ( DECEMBER - MAY) WATER CAN BE TAKEN FROM THE LAKE BY BREAKING THE ICE. IF INTERESTED PLEASE SEND AN INQUIRY FOR AVAILABILITY**
Our waterfront cottages are a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts! An excellent spot for families and experienced anglers who want to get away and spend time on the lake. The lake is part of the Government of Ontario's Fish Stocking Program and is overflowing with a variety of sport fish!
Our cottage faces Crown Land and has its own fire pit with a magnificent sunrise view. Self contained with fully equipped kitchens and three piece bathrooms. We do supply charcoal grills, bring your own charcoal. We also supply dish soap, but please bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, linens, bedding, and pillows.

This reservation has a moderate cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travelers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travelers cancelling 14-30 days prior to check-in. No refunds are provided for travelers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, dogs permitted (max 2 dogs). Do not leave your dog unattended, and please pick up after them.

Great hosts

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Cleanliness was an issue. We spent the first several hours cleaning and disinfecting the place. There were cob webs in many spots and dishes didn't seem thoroughly cleaned. The location was fantastic! Neighbours were a little closer than ideal but we were right on waterfront and the lake was spectacular. Staff were kind and friendly. Value for the price was very good.
