Excellent swimming off the flat rock, great fishing and amazing water views from all sides of the cottage. Great outdoor furniture, nice newer bbq. Would stay again.
A relaxing retreat from every day life. Great swimming for distance swimmers. Lots of boat action for entertainment if you just want to sit back and watch. Lovely star filled skies. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen.
Great stay! Location is fantastic. Great fishing and swimming. Cabin had all of the essentials and was well kept and appointed. Easy check in process. We are definitely keeping this one on the short list for future visits! Thank you, Eva!
We had a wonderful and fun stay. A beautiful location, with privacy all around the property. We will be booking this cute and cozy place again. If you love wildlife, this is a great location. Bring your water toys.
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful! And we love that we can see the lake from almost every window in the house. It was very comfortable for all of us. We are looking forward to staying again! Eva was great and took very good care of us! Thank you!
This is an older cottage, but very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The lake and surrounding nature are beautiful, especially at sunrise. The cottage is very private on a little peninsula, so there are different views of the lake, places to sit in the sun and shade throughout the day, and places to access the water. The lake was very nice for swimming (more rocks than weeds). Most of the time it was quiet and there were not many boats, though there were busier periods with fast and noisy boats and seadoos, like any large lake.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
gorgeous quiet cottage stay
PROS:
-very beautiful, lots of water and birds all around, consistent breeze kept the bugs under control even in early summer, good privacy, sounds of water lapping, good screens on all the windows, well laid out cottage space w lots of places to sit and look at nature / read, places to put up a hammock, appliances work, good water pressure, wifi is slow but steady, property manager didn't have to come do anything while we were there
CONS: Pricey, and some inaccuracies in the listing to be aware of: no hot tub, only one of the actual beds are queen sized (the other is a double, so most likely the second queen bed is the futon); listing says that kitchen basics are available but there was no dish soap and the cooking oil was long expired and had gone off
OVERALL: A very comfortable stay in a stunning location. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the review
Maybe you were mixing us up with another cottage
We don’t advertise a hot tub and the bedrooms are clearly stated as a queen and a double.
I was at the cottage with friends in mid-July and very much enjoyed my stay. The cottage is well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and is well-situated on a peninsula. You'll have a beautiful view of the lake on three sides of the cottage. A private boat launch and dock make this place great for boating of any kind. Shoreline rocks make swimming access relatively and there are no annoying weeds to deal with. You'll hear fishing boats, bowriders, water-skiers, and jet skis in the height of the season but I found most boaters to be respectful in avoiding excessive noise. Owner Eva has been very friendly and helpful and is adamant about making things right if there are any problems during your stay. In addition to wi-fi, I had cellphone access at the cottage and pretty much all around the lake. I'll go back to this cottage for sure and I recommend it.
Upon arriving I found we had no Internet service, then we had a thunderstorm come through and found brown water dripping from 3 places of the attic access and splashing into one of my sneakers. When I told Eva the owner about it her only response was "the drips will stop in a few minutes"??? So obviously she knew about it but didn't care that the bedroom stinks because the carpet smells moldy/musty. Also she had told me that they just got a new well but the water hadn't been tested yet. Well the water was nasty. It smelled awful and made my wife and my fingernails a reddish orange along with towels and wash cloths-see pictures. We had to buy extra water just to wash with and brush our teeth.I had to spend over a half hour of my vacation trying to troubleshoot the Internet problem with the tech support people only to find out that they had to send a technician out to fix it. So we had no Internet until the last 36 hours of our stay. The air conditioner wasn't working when we got there either. Eve said to unplug it and plug it back in??? I found later that the breaker had been turned off and it was marked as a heater. The screened in porch was full of pollen and pine needles, so obviously it hadn't been swept in quite a while, and our only source of entertainment was the DVD player that had no batteries in it.This place should have been checked over before we got there and Eva won't give us any refund.

A series of thunderstorms knocked out power in our region. Everything was quickly restored except the internet which could not be fixed with phone instructions and required the service provider to send a technician which unfortunately required a wait. However, after that, these renters seemed to look for ways to find fault in everything. We were preparing to offer them a discount for their trouble. However when the cleaners arrived they discovered piles of garbage strewn around the cottage sheds, including disgusting fish guts, which they had to clean up. Thus no offer of a discount. We recently upgraded the cottage water supply from lake water to well water. The well water has been certified safe for all purposes. Never-the less we continue to advise renters to bring their own water for drinking and cooking as the water has very heavy mineral content. We have excellent cleaners and they do a fantastic job making sure that the cottage is left spotless for our guests, and are available to help out with any problems which may arise.
This was an amazing location ! The view is incredible , you can see the water from every room . It was clean and quiet . We definitely will be returning .
Loads of beauty and birds. Stars, campfire perfect. Cottage is pleasant with well equipped kitchen. Despite a heat wave, cool breezes made the AC unneeded. I found it odd that we were obliged to truck our week's garbage 5 hours home to Montreal.
