This house was wonderful! We stayed there over the MLK weekend. There were three families and plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the basement and the sleds. The adults loved the large comfortable living and kitchen space, with a large, comfortable couch and a fireplace. The outside areas were great. The bedrooms are all large. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Plenty of driveway parking. We would absolutely stay there again! Thank you to the owners!
We had lots of family fun in a spacious and clean environment. Played ping pong and board games, cooked delicious meals and enjoyed the outside fireplace. Grandfather mountain was a great experience . Located close to downtown Boone, we walked around and did some shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

While the home is very spacious it has areas that need to be updated/repaired/cleaned. Specifically, the window in the kitchen with paper towels stuffed to soak up the water from leaks. While the home was generally clean, it needs a deep cleaning. We had a couple of toys roll under the couch and when retrieved they were full of dust and debris.
We had a wonderful time! Plenty of room for everyone! It’s a beautiful home and we didn’t want to leave. The location is one of the best we’ve stayed at being only 8 minutes to Boone and 15 from Blowing Rock!
We traveled to Boone for baseball tournament. The house is beautiful and in a beautiful gated private community! It was a fantastic decompression! Lots of deer and turkeys on the property daily! Definitely would stay again!
We had our Mountain Family Christmas in this beautiful Boone home this past weekend. The home, also, has a beautiful view! The home is large enough for our family of 14. Our seven grandchildren slept on the lower level, in the bedroom with the three sets of bunk bed. Two of the younger girls wanted to sleep together in the same bed, which made the six beds work for us. Each of the three bedrooms with king beds are all large & each one individually unique. The grandchildren all love being together. They played games, played ping pong & played some basketball after it warmed up a little on Saturday. We all exchanged & opened gifts around the fireplace Saturday evening! All had a wonderful time & checkout time on Sunday arrived way too soon! This is definitely a Christmas to remember!
The setting was beautiful and house was comfortable and well appointed. The only frustration we had was the fireplace was not operable. The directions stated that the pilot light was on and only to use the on/off switch to operate. But I don’t believe the pilot was turned on. Aside from that, our stay was very nice.
Our family had a relaxing and wonderful vacation. We enjoyed the beautiful home we rented. We were able to have our children and grandchildren visit to have a lot of fun. We kayaked, visited many restaurants. hiked, went to Mystery Hill, played putt putt, ping pong at the rental home and games galore.
We enjoyed our stay despite the fact Hurricane Helene had hit the region two weeks prior. The home is very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. Our Guest Contact, Amber, was amazing and very responsive and helpful before, during and after our trip! We hope to return to this property again soon!
We went to this house for a weekend and the way the beds are arranged it was perfect for our group - with the kids having their own den to themselves and each couple having a good size bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked (it could use some cleanup and organization but we found everything we needed). The location is also good, not too far from Boone, Sugar Mountain, and Blowing Rock. We are definitely considering going back soon. Thanks!!

Great family house
We really enjoyed the house. There was lots of great space for family. Beds were comfortable, lots of games for kids to play. The guest contact was very responsive for the needs we had. Some supplies were a little sparse, so you might want to check or bring extra if this is important (paper towels, cleaning cloths, foil or ziplocks, tissue, dishwasher pods, spices or cooking staples).
Big home with lots of room for a big family, back deck has a great view with lots of chairs for everyone to sit around, gas fire pit. 8-10 minutes to Boone for shopping is convenient. The kids had a lot of fun with the ping pong table. Dining room area was a great table for 10 to play family games.
This house was perfect for our large group. The kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen needs supplied. The hot tub was fantastic, along with games and ping pong. All bedrooms are large with great linens, and the bathrooms are beautiful. Parking was ample and the covered parking was nice. Downside was low water pressure and we could have used more towels.
This house was just perfect for a gathering of my grown kids, grandchildren and another set of grandparents for a few days. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, the house was spotless, and we all had plenty of room everyone. The kids loved the bunk bed room, and all the rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for s'mores, and everyone had a relaxing time in the hot tub after a day skiing. We had quick responses to any questions we had for our guest contact. Thank you for a place to make some wonderful memories.
