Experience Wisconsin in an old farmhouse in the beautiful Kettle Moraine
My home sits on a 2 acre plot of land. It is in the country with lots of wildlife, trees, trails, and a hill with a view of a marsh. A very secluded area and quiet. The nearest neighbor is half a mile away. There are benches outside and a table with chairs. There is also a front screened in porch and a back porch. The home itself is a unique and quaint farmhouse that has had some updates and has had regular maintenance upkeep. It is very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchen to cook in, a living room, a dining room and a bedroom. We would be living upstairs most of the time to answer any questions or concerns. We will keep to ourselves and respect your privacy. The property is very close to hiking trails, lakes, a few small towns, Plymouth (a city of 20,000) and Fond du Lac ( a city of 40,000). Whistling Straits golf course is about 35 miles away, EAA of Oshkosh (air plane show) , Elkhart race track is 10 miles from here, and the property is right between Milwaukee and Green Bay ( 1 hr. each way). The home can comfortably sleep 2 on the bed and there is a couch which is a good size. So, depending on the situation there is room on the comfortable living room carpet for kids to sleep on blow up mattress pads. **** I do have cats here , in case of any allergies. They will be with me or outside.

Gina was a super host! Both of use grew up in older farmhouses and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were there for the weekend for the Indy Car races at Road America and it was very convenient! Added bonus was the area marsh that had several Sandhill Cranes, plus LOTS of other birds. Would highly recommend!

Thanks Rick! It was so nice to meet you both and I am so happy you enjoyed your stay.
Not many people come here and go outside to enjoy the 2 acres, and appreciate the marsh with all the wildlife it has to offer.
Hope to see you again!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The property is a cute farmhouse and the host is very friendly. The wifi connection is slow but out in the country it is too be expected. Would stay again.
Beautiful and comfortable property, super helpful host!
Best accommodation rental experience we ever had, by far! Very comfortable place with tons of amenities, right in the nature, with a friendly and easy to contact host. Very easy check in and check out, peaceful environment, just a thorough positive and enjoyable stay.
My personal favorite part was the small bird feeder posted outside, visible from the kitchen window bringing various colorful birds every morning while making breakfast.
Cute, rustic farm house off the beaten path. Wake to sounds of nature w/ your coffee. Host lives on site, is very friendly and responsive to msgs. Cool walking path cut through field behind the house to explore the grounds. Kitchen is well equipped. The AC unit was not quite enough to keep the full place as cool as we like, but fans are provided. Mattress could also be updated, but okay if you like soft.

I am glad you enjoyed my home and property. Sorry about the mattress not meeting your needs. It is relatively new.
The a/c is going to be replaced with a higher powered unit. It keeps it cool but not as some would like with these hot hot days.
Thanks for your review! I do appreciate it :)
If you want to stop and relax and see the country in all its splendour this is the place for you.
The farm house is clean tidy and very comfortable. Towns are close by but more importantly there are hikes on the state park that take your breath away.
I luckily had some snow one day and had a magnificent fairytale day
Perfect for what we needed which was just a place to sleep for the event weekend during local events. Nice little farmhouse. Exactly as described and expected and the owner was so hospitable. Read the description carefully and should be no problems.
Needed a place to stay for race weekend at Road America. This fit the bill perfectly- about 15 minutes away, close to Walmart, quiet with sandhill cranes around to announce the morning as only they can.
If next years schedule permits attending the race, I’ll be back.
Rustic 100-year-old farmhouse out in the country. Located 15 mins. from Road America. Guests have the entire lower level, which includes large sitting room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen. WI-FI a little spotty. Very clean. Friendly hosts.
We were there for the races. Close to track. Great for my husband and I. Very rustic. Small window air conditioner in living room only, made for uncomfortable first night. Hot weekend!
Very low toilet, . Not good if you have bad knees
When renting Glenbeulah you must understand there is a reason the price is very reasonable. There is nothing new or up to date about this rental. But what it lacks in an updated look is made up for in the peace and quiet of being in the country, having the entire 1st floor, windows open at night, better bed sheet then hotels and there was an eclectic charm to the place. The place was also clean. It is not a real bed with mattress but a futon. It was comfortable, but I prefer a real bed. My one negative.
We enjoyed staying with Gina during Ryder Cup Weekend. Check in was easy, she was very responsive to all questions and we found accommodations to be cleaned and stock with everything we needed.
We expressed the desire to get a fire going on night two and Gina showed us where everything was and gave tips to make it enjoyable. Tons of firewood, kindling, lighter and a great fire pit - we brought the s'mores fixings and it was a beautiful evening.
Thanks, Gina - we had a lovely time.

Hi Shane! Thanks for your review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and you are welcome back any time.
You guys were very nice and peaceful.
Take care.
Thanks again, Shane :)
We booked here short notice, and in a kerfuffle we ended up grabbing a hotel which we regret. The host was very nice and helped me work with VRBO in my kerfuffle. If we're in the area again we'll definitely stay here, instead of a noisy hotel.

Regina owns a nice piece of property in the Kettle Moraine which I love. We had planned to camp but weather did not cooperate. So glad to find this stay. It was perfect for us location wise. And when the rain continued and we couldn’t hike we ended up visiting Henschel’s Indisn museum outside of Elkhart Lake, which was fascinating. We were a bit uncomfortable staying with all her things in the house but she was a gracious host so I really do not want to say anything negative. Just know you are staying in her ‘home’

I am very much ok with people staying in my home while I live in the upstairs at the time. I trust my renters and I feel I only draw good folks.
There are many places that only rent out a room and actually share the living space with the owners.
I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable with my "things" but wherever you stay is going to be someone else's "things" even if they do not live there.
So I keep my place very clean and clean it well after someone stays, even for my own benefit.
Comfortable and cozy, enjoyed the quiet out in the country, rather liked seeing the wild turkeys, cranes, and hummingbirds when walking around outside, felt quite relaxed like a home away from home.

As mentioned, this is in the Kettle Moraine so there are lots of hiking trails and State Parks within the area. I love the quietness and peacefulness with nature abound.
