A wonderful time to relax with friends

We recently booked the coziest house, and it’s been an absolute treat! My wife mentioned that the bathroom upstairs is a bit of a mix, with a toilet and a bath, but I think it adds to the charm. We stayed in this house for a weekend, 2 families with 2 toddlers. House is a good size, fully stocked with everything you need, especially kitchen. Beach access is the best part, we spent almost all our time at the beach, kayaking and just hanging out. Really appreciated toys and books for kids. Very close to everything, perfect location. A great place to relax, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. This was a terrific house for our multi-generational family holiday. The living room and dining table are perfect for family gatherings. The outdoor space is amazing - huge rock beach on the Hood Canal, beautiful landscaping between it and the house, and lots of chairs and kayaks to enjoy it. The host contact was very friendly and helpful when I misplaced the access code. Highly recommend.

Perfect fall getaway

We were three families with small children who wanted to get away from Seattle for the long weekend and this home could not have been better. The house was well maintained and offered lots of places to inside and out to play and hang out. The property is so cool with paths from the house down to the beach. We spent the weekend watching salmon swim by, porpoises, and spotting tons of elephant seals close to shore. We walked on the beach, shucked and ate oysters right from the beach, and kayaked along the coast. Will definitely recommend and try to stay there again.

WOW, Just book it!

This is an amazing property, location, and access to Hood Canal. It surpassed my expectations. Everything about it was special - multiple kayaks and life vests so we could all go out as a family. Really nice fire pit area with plenty of COMFORTABLE chairs for around fire and on beach. Enough towels for beach and showers. Comfortable beds. Beautiful kitchen with plenty of untensils and cooking equipment. It was a very special stay for my daughters and I. I am so glad we chose this house and really hope we can come back again. Thank you for helping make our vacation perfect!

Upon arrival, the house was not clean or ready for new guests due to a miscommunication with the owner and cleaners. After a short delayed response from the owner, a cleaning crew was expedited and we were compensated with complimentary drinks/appetizers for the 2 hour delay to get settled. The initial inconvenience was insignificant compared to the beautiful location, the comfort and convenience. Our vacation was wonderful and I would recommend this beautiful spot and home.

Wonderful Home and Location!

I was referred to this home when a previous reservation with another home fell through, and it worked out beautifully. Our group was comprised of six women. Two were able to share one of the queen beds, but if that's not in your comfort zone, there is plenty of space for an air mattress. The weather was a bummer, but once it cleared, we loved the kayaks and the private beach. The kitchen was decently equipped, even with a basket of shared condiments in the fridge. The hosts are very responsive. Any questions I had were answered quickly. I'd return when the chance comes.
