We had a wonderful time staying at Sunset Casa. The condo is beautifully equipped and addressed all of our vacation needs and more. We enjoyed the stunning ocean views every morning from our balcony and the rooftop pool in the evenings.Liz was an amazing host and always got back to us quickly to address any of our questions or needs. We did feel very safe with the night security guard. We look forward to staying at Sunset Casa again in the near future.

A peaceful and beautiful stay

The condo is well-designed and has a wonderful view. The pools and viewpoints from the building are very nice. Liz is very courteous and prompt.

Excellent location, Fantastic views

Property is clean, well located and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We walked to the Mirador, Zona Romantica, Malecon, we watched beautiful sunsets from the rooftop pool as well as from our own private deck. Grocery stores were close and bbq was handy.

We loved the roof top pool! Gorgeous views and refreshing. Communication with the owner was excellent-clear and swift communication. The property was safe and clean. Walking distance to town and great restaurants.

Great place with two problems

We loved our stay and have rebooked for next year. But it took us an hour to get into our unit since it is not located in the building that the address shows. And we were very disappointed to see that half the ocean view is blocked by a cement wall.

We enjoyed PV during our stay. Location was great, restaurants nearby and a short walk to the Malecon. Sunset views from our balcony were spectacular. Situated on the hillside, the hike up to the condo and all the stairs in the building was a bit much. We got a workout everyday ;-). The night watchman gave us added feeling of security. Thank you Liz for a great experience.

Beautiful Views

This condo is quite comfortable and has everything you need if you want to cook your own meals, although there are many restaurants within a 10 minute walk.The view from the terrace is great, although there is a building blocking a full view of the ocean. This is no problem though as the view from the two terraces above is spectacular.The only cons are that there is a very bright security light that shines directly onto the terrace at night, there are many steps to get to the condo, and it can be quite noisy on the terrace between roosters, dogs and construction.Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Views, Comfort and great hospitality!

Wonderful place to stay and brilliant views! We were so impressed with the staff at Casa Sunset. We'd use the bbq grill and the next morning it was spotless again. The security guard at night was friendly and got to know us over our 4 week stay. Our unit, Luna, had a lovely balcony to watch the sunsets, whales and nightly fireworks. WiFi worked well for some remote working. Other guests were very friendly and considerate. 5-10 minute walk to the Malecon, Ley grocery and Camarones Beach. Our kitchen was sufficiently stocked and weekly laundry service was so convenient. Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and the breeze with the window open at night was sufficient to cool the room for sleeping (but there also was an a/c unit in the bedroom). Appreciated the yoga mats, water cooler, pool floats and all the different seating areas/levels in the public areas. Uber was cheap ($3-$5USD) and easy to use when walking seemed too far. Corner taco stand, Bichou, was delicious. So glad we stayed at Casa Sunst!

Lovely condo in a good neighbourhood

My reviews are always based on 2 key things: Is the space “as advertised” and is the host helpful and responsive? Both things are true about Liz’s lovely condo and her super responsive service. Clean and well appointed condo. If you look at the pictures you will see several nice terraces where you can sit with a meal or a cocktail and have a wonderful view of Puerto Vallarta and a good breeze too. The roof top pool(s) although small are just perfect for a cool down dip. We like to cook a bit for ourselves when we travel so we enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. Wifi was good. Liz’s check in/ check out info was easy to follow. She has evening security who ask for your names as you enter in the evening (nice touch). This neighbourhood is really central and quieter than the other more touristy ones. but you are close enough to walk there should you want the nightlife. We preferred the (mostly) quiet evenings at Liz’s condo. Many reviewers mention the stairs, but we are not young and found them safe and easy to navigate. But you must climb stairs for those beautiful views! What is a bit tougher to navigate in PV are the very rough cobblestone roads and kinda crazy sidewalks. Nothing to do with this condo of course, but very sturdy shoes are required and make sure to watch where you are walking (potholes, weird steps, narrow passageways, SUPER steep roadways.) Truly an experience as a walker!Many thanks Liz for a great experience.

Our week in Puerto Vallarta

We just spent a wonderful week in this comfortable, well-furnished, clean apartment. The bed was just right, and the kitchen had great appliances plus everything we needed to do some cooking. If we had any questions or concerns, they were answered (email) quickly. The view from our deck was spectacular, and the two rooftop pools & lounge areas were perfect. Since we are elderly (70s), it was tough getting to this place: the cobblestone street (Argentina) is very steep (like many in PV), and there were 65 more steps from the street to our place. However...to get that view, it was worth it!
