Casa Marianne is in a prime location, just below the lighthouse at Punta de la Mona peninsula. The appealing complex La Aldea is particularly distinguished by the fact that no house is like another. From the spacious balcony opens a stunning view of red tiled roofs and lush flowers away to the sea, two beaches and the marina with bars, restaurants, galleries and the dive center. Here you can see with a little luck even pass the sunset and dolphins.
The bright and tastefully furnished house offers a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen and a toilet on the upper floor. The lower floor has 2 facing the sea double room, each with a small balcony, 2 bathrooms / WC and a washing machine. The residents of the complex is a well-kept, exclusive pool. Casa Marianne is ideal for families and couples.


For errands in the village (2 km) and for exploring the surrounding area a car is recommended, which can be parked in front of the House.

very satisfied a fantastic accommodation

A wonderful holiday we are happy to go back here, You need a car and the pool is a located a bit down from the apartment, but the view from the terrace outweighs everything. La Herradura is a nice town and the surroundings are beautiful, and it is not far by car to Nerja or Almanucar we are happy to go back here.

Great place!

The house is great. It has a fantastic view of the Mediterranean see from the living room and the terrace. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Very clean. La Herradura is on walking distance, but you need a car.

Week stay at Casa Marianne

Very clean house! Great location but if you have a car beware of very narrow and tight spaces to navigate. House manager Alex was very responsive. There were no check in instructions. A basic notebook of house instructions would have been very helpful- instructions for fans, washing machine, internet passwords, trash disposal, local grocery etc. New bedroom pillows are needed— too flat, bedding and towels could be updated.

A nice stay

We have rented in La Herradura many times so we know the area very well. Casa Marianne was not a disappointment. Very clean, plenty of room for the two of us, well stocked kitchen (the only thing we missed was a blender) and the bed had good mattresses. The view from the balcony was wonderful with sun from early morning until late afternoon, and we also saw a whale! We often took a walk to town, it takes about 20 min. We love this area so much because we have a lot of great places to visit by car that are not so far away. Will recommend hiking in the Rio Verde valley with special waterfalls, a small stalactite cave and wonderful nature and mountains. From Frigiliana we have often taken the 4 hours hike to the top of El Fuerte. The view from the top is stunning! This will not be our last visit to La Herradura, and we would love to stay in casa Marianne another time. Thomas, the owner, is a great host that answered our questions very quickly. Thank you! Het was onze vijfde keer dat we op Punta de la Mona verbleven. Zoals steeds hebben we genoten van de rust en het mooie uitzicht. Casa Marianne is goed uitgeruste woning met een magnifiek uitzicht. Er is geen airconditioning aanwezig wat op hete dagen kan zorgen voor een hogere temperatuur in de living en keuken. Op de slaapkamers was het goed met de ventilator en het raam dat voorzien was van muggengaas. Een tip misschien een mobiele airco voorzien in de living. We verbleven in 2019 ook reeds in deze urbanisatie en het was een blij terugzien. Casa Marianne is een aanrader voor wie houdt van rust en mooie uitzichten.

Beautiful views

La zona és muy bonita y hay variedad de playas, pueblos, bares, etc... La casa está muy bien y goza de unas vistas muy bonitas. Muy bien distribuida, y con corriente de aire muy agradable. La urbanización es muy bonita pero está un poco lejos del pueblo. Lo que le da un encanto y tranquilidad especial, pero resta accesibilidad. Nosotros somos de coger el coche para visitar sitios y básicamente íbamos a dormir. Pero se necesita coche y GPS para no perderte . El anfitrión muy accesible y contesta enseguida .

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht

Wir haben eine schöne Woche in dem sauberen und mit liebe gepflegten Haus verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden was wir benötigt haben, vom Spiel bis zu den Schuhbürsten. Das Wasser im schön angelegten und gepflegten Pool war frisch, aber Schwimmen ging schon. Es ist angenehm ruhig, so das man auch beim Wellenrauschen auf den Liegen auf dem Balkon dösen kann. Der Weg vom Strand hoch zum Haus auf dem Berg ist zu Fuß anstrengend.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Am Anfang ein kleines Problem mit dem Schlüssel, da die Reinigungsfrau vergessen hatte ihn am vereinbarten Ort zu hinterlegen. Danach war alles wunderbar.

Très bon séjour

Vue fantastique sur la mer. De très gros volumes dans toutes les pièces et une salle de bain de taille digne de celle d'un château !!! Très agréable. Juste un bémol sur l'absence de climatisation. Nous avons souffert de la chaleur. Les ventilateurs au plafond ne nous paraissent pas suffisants. Cette maison doit être idéale en l'état au printemps et automne. Nous garderons néanmoins un très bon souvenir de Casa Marianne Merci à Alex qui nous a accueilli. Un homme très sympathique et Thomas qui a été réactif à nos questions

Rundum toll!

Die Unterkunft und auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter sind durchweg toll! Eine super Ausstattung und ein traumhafter Blick von der Terasse! Man sollte aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto zur Verfügung haben, da der Weg zum Meer sonst recht lang ist. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung mit einem unglaublichen Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt absolut genossen. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen und lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Ich habe jeden Morgen den Ausblick auf der Terrasse bei einer Tasse Kaffee genossen, als alle anderen noch schliefen. Es ist wunderbar ruhig. Das Ferienhaus ist in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage gelegen, zu der auch ein Pool gehört. Den Pool haben wir erst nicht, aber dank der schnellen und guten Wegbeschreibung von Herrn Geyer, gut gefunden. Es war nie viel los am Pool und er hat eine ausreichende Größe und Tiefe. Nur am äußeren Rand konnte man stehen, im Übrigen nicht. Die Ferienwohnung ist voll ausgestattet, so dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Eine Klimaanlage ist echt vorhanden, was uns alle aber nicht gestört hat. Man kann dank der Ventilatoren und den Fliegengittern in den Fenstertüren sehr gut schlafen. Die Betten sind bequem. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, auch die Bäder. Strandtücher sind in ausreichender Menge und Größe vorhanden. Herr Geyer hat auf Anfrage super schnell reagiert, auch als wir nicht wussten, wie wir den Gasherd in Betrieb nehmen können. Wir können den Vermieter und das Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen. Von der Buchung bis zum auschecken hat alles wunderbar geklappt

Traumhafter Ausblick aufs Meer

Die Wohnung/Maisonette, kleines Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt und die Ruhe ist kaum zu toppen. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung sind perfekt. Das Parken direkt vor dem Haus ist super komfortabel. Die Wohnanlage wird sehr gut gepflegt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett und direkt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
